Stopped by for lunch and were very pleased. You pay for the chips and salsa (unlimited refills) and I have no problem with that. Keeps the folks who want to "eat for free" out. Good service - good food - good atmosphere

Visiting from Arizona we went to Agave with family for dinner. Long wait(don't take reservations), and one of the noisiest restaurants I've ever been in. Almost impossible to have a conversation-food was good but overpriced. Service was adequate but not special. Won't be going back on our next visit.

We tried this place because we love mexican and it got good reviews. The chips and salsa were good. The enchiladas I had were pretty bland and lack luster. The guacamole was small and not one of the better ones I've had. The drinks were ok but not great. Atmosphere was nice.

I've eaten here a dozen times - consistently very good. The guacamole is worth the money. Mexican food is lacking on the North Shore in general but Agave is a good option if you've got a craving.

Like I've said in other reviews of Mexican restaurants, I'm definitely a picky Mexican eater because I LOVE Mexican! This play is very appealing and has been recommended to be by numerous people time and time again. We came for lunch. Food was great but way too much cheese on my burrito. The waitress seemed like she was irritated that... More

Enjoyed sitting outside on a hot summer day in August with a nice cold margarita and some nachos and salsa to start. Had really tasty beef tacos made with pulled beef, rather than ground beef and my husband had a chicken enchilada which was also very good. Stopped by as we saw that business was booming - that's always a... More

Love their margaritas and margtini creation. Really good chips and salsa. The beef street tacos were excellent. You have to try the Grilled Salad - yes - grilled romain lettuce. Delicious.

Not sure I understand the big draw here. The food is average at best and not really authentic. If you are just looking for some drinks and apps to fill up on, then perhaps an adequate choice. Otherwise not worth it.

This is not the place to go and worry about what you eat. We have been here a few times and every time we LOVE it. The bubbling cauldron of cheese (AKA Queso Fundido) is a terrific appetizer. It has delicious chorizo crumbles in it. It's sinful! We have also tried different burritos and enchiladas and have never been disappointed.... More

We visited here one night and had such fun. The food is very good and the Margaritas are huge and definitely hit the spot. The staff are great and the place tastefully decorated
