We vouched to leave the touristy hustle of Newburyport and go beyond to a hidden gem! Lots of locals and the food was fabulous! My grilled Mahi Mahi tacos were amazing-I chose to have both the pineapple jalapeño salsa and the cilantro sour cream!!! My daughter had a great BYO burger which she thoroughly enjoyed! I vouched for the hand... More

Good food, especially the burgers and pizzas, along with my favorite Cesar salad. But the humans are the draw. Sunday afternoons 4-7 feature a jumpin collection of souls dancing to live music of local bands. The bar is long and busy, lined with an exceptionally diverse group of patrons, all digging the groove and dancing wherever they can. The staff... More

nice spot, casual, flip flops or jeans go well, staff could not have been better. we had the chicken sandwich with the pepper jelly, tomatoe, red onion and lettuce, was excellent. would definitely do so again. we also sprung the extra $3 for onion rings, very large portion and worth the extra money if you like your rings hand dipped... Enjoyed a wonderful lunch last weekend with my wife. Had both the pesto and coconut shrimp. Both were hot and very tasty. My wife had the salmon tacos which she said were very good and I had a burger and fries. Everything was hot and cooked as asked. The cocktails were very good too!! Plan to go back again soon.

Hubby and I had a coupon for two meals here, and since we were in the area, decided to stop in for a late lunch. It was quiet mid-afternoon, but our waitress was delightful and most helpful. After giving the menu a quick look we opted for fish and chips with coleslaw and were not disappointed. The "chips" were especially... More

Earlier this year they had baked stuffed lobster which was the best we have ever had. They also have excellent fish such as fish and chips and very good veal parmigiana and very good eggplant parmigiana.

I've been to the Coma many times. I've had many items on the menu including, burgers, pizza, pesto pasta, and more. I've never been disappointed with the food. The servers and bartenders are all very friendly and accommodating. Many talented bands have played on Sunday afternoons, always a good time. If I had anything negative to say it would be... More

The Beachcoma has been around for a long time. Current owners are locals and it is a family friendly style bar and grille. Food is mostly good with some standouts..... Great burger and fries, pizza, steak tips and ribs. Hearty food at the beach.

We visited Beachcoma while they had a private event, so the place was really busy. I had the caprese salad and the Cajun blackened salmon. The salad was quite good, the salmon was excellent. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly, despite being busy. Overall, a great experience.
