My wife and I had a great dinner at the Dolphin. We usually eat at the bar, however it was full so we at at the table we had reserved, earlier that day, in the dining room. The waiter and supporting staff were great. We...were pleased and satisfied with our meal. The calamari appetizer was great with the varying calamari pieces and red and green peppers. Our meals were great also. I had salmon on a Greek salad (delicious) and my wife had seafood stew. In addition she was pleased with her mixed drink from the bar and I had nice Guinness pours. We also love that the restaurant is so close to our house and free parking is available in Natick center at night. We will be back.More

Roll was fine. Waiter attentive. Food terrible. Ordered two different seafood dishes. Over cooked, came out rubbery. Terrible sause for both the clams with linguini and the seafood pasta dish. Inedible. Don't waste your time or money. Fortunately there is a good pizza place down...the street. If you want good seafood in Natick go to Legal Seafood. Always excellent.More

my wife and I eat there often. We usually dine at the bar where the service and bar menu is perfect. They make a great martini too.

The food was ok. And the service was objectively attentive, but the service was definitely not welcoming. Maybe they were having a bad day.

Tuna Sashimi Sesame Seeds is the best I have had. The wings and the blue cheese dressing is highly recommended and you can count on great service.

Met a good friend here after work for their special $1 Oysters, shrimp, and little neck clams between 3-5:30pm. I also enjoyed the Chicken and Bacon sliders and she truly enjoyed their Salad with Swordfish Kebobs. Large restaurant and nice atmosphere, friendly servers. We sat...in the bar area at a nice high top booth.More

Very good fish and seafood choices, with some nice alternatives for those who don't like food that swims. The decor is warm and tasteful and the staff is friendly and attentive. There is a lively bar.

Tried this joint while on weekend trip to Boston. We ate on a Monday night and it was subpar vs the food we had in downtown beantown. We tried the calamari, chowder and crab cakes. Calamari was chewy and rubbery, crab cakes must have been...frozen and reheated and the chowder had chewy clams and bland hard potatoes. Not very good to be a seafood restaurant in New England. Wife had swordfish and it was dry and she questioned if it was even swordfish. Sides were plain broccoli squash and carrots mixed (veg of day) and rice pilaf I had the lobster la natick. It was a hot mess. Lobster claw and a half a tail that was rubbery as well. Dish was covered w cheese on top of scallops and shrimp with some stuffing. I ordered at the waiters suggestion, but that was obviously as huge mistake. After a weekend in Boston this food was a huge disappointment and we would probably rate this the worst seafood meal we have ever had. Our waiter Andy tried to make it better but you can’t hide subpar food.More

Dolphin Restaurant in Natick has delicious seafood. We like the bar better than the dining room restaurant because the prices are better and the atmosphere is more upscale casual. We especially recommend the swordfish sandwich , haddock dinner and scallops appetizer.

We had a very good meal here Saturday evening. We sat at the bar and had an enjoyable experience. Dale the bartender is a very nice gentleman and gave us great service. The food was excellent. The Seafood Marsala is exceptional with medium sized shrimp...and nice large chunks of sword and salmon.More

I’ve been dining here for years. Come back for the fresh, delicious and reasonably priced seafood. Convenient location in downtown Natick with plenty of on-street parking.

The Dolphin Seafood Restaurant was exactly what we were looking for. We had made a reservation for 7PM. The parking lot was full but there was additional parking available across the street in the bank lot. While very busy, we were greeted very quickly and...seated. Our Server, Matt was friendly and performed his waiter duties very well. The wine list has a little something for everyone and the prices are fair. On to the menu. It's one of those menus that requires several decisions......sides, starch, broiled, fried....etc. We both ordered the same thing: Lobster a la Natick, side salad fries for my MR and "today's"veg for me. The salad was fresh greens, red onion and grape tomatoes. The stand out on this course, the blue cheese dressing. Creamy with chunks of blue cheese. Yum! Entre, very big!!!! Lobster cooked perfectly and all of the required to get to him....right there. Many shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly. A little too much "dressing" for me but tasty. My veg....could have used a little more cooking time and maybe some kind of seasoning. The room we were in is noisy in a good way. All generations seemed to be present and quite a few large parties. But the atmosphere was happy and friendly. I can imagine revisiting this eatery next time we are in the Natick area.More

It's always been there and how good can it be? And it turns out to be pretty good. Enjoyed the Lobster Natick tonight (half a lobster in a casserole with shrimp and scallops, wife enjoyed the greek salad with the ridiculous amount of Seafood skewer....Service was hit or miss, but the food was good and plentiful and not too much moneyMore

I hadn't been back for about 10 years and thought I'd give it another try. Checked out the menu online and already had decided on the seafood cioppino, a "specialty of the house". Among the several seafoods was calamari including a generous portion of ringlets...and whole pieces. It was literally like eating rubber bands. The shrimp were fine as was the hearty broth but the other seafoods were overcooked and a bit on the dry side. Unfortunately not the standard I would have expected.More
