We hadn't been for many years for some reason and went back during Dine Out Boston. Can't remember why we stopped going! Excellent dinners, good wine, desserts that rocked, and attentive but not intrusive service. This place should be full every night. It's back on our list of go to restaurants for a great meal.

Good ambiance and service. Food was ok. I are calamari, which was rubbery without much taste and gnocchi meal was ok. Menu is limited and very expensive 150 bucks for dinner for two, especially give the location.

Bistro 5 used to be very enjoyable. The last three times I have eaten here, although the food was still good, the service has been substandard for a place with its aspirations.

We had a wonderful meal and outstanding cocktails and choices of wine - all served by a very gracious server who was very knowledgable about everything on the menu and such a pleasure! The restaurant has been remodeled in the last couple years and it's really a great place, although we liked it before too. We'd highly recommend!

My family took me to Bistro 5 for dinner and an early Mother's Day treat as we knew the meal would be outstanding . . . which it was! We had the 3-course tasting menu with wine pairings and savored each bite. The tagliatelle with fresh peas was so tasty and fresh -- a breath of spring on a cold... More

I recently had my sister's 50th birthday party here. The event coordinator was very nice and helpful throughout the process. We were a party of 13 and the night went incredibly smoothly, not one issue. Flawless service as I've always experienced there. The food is amazing. Everyone was impressed with the quality and taste. We had calamari which is one... More

We came in just to check it out and sat at the bar for a drink. I highly recommend coming here. I can't give an opinion about the food because we did not eat here this time - but will most likely come again and try it. I liked the atmosphere - small neighborhood feel!

I go to Bistro Five several times a year. It is my favorite restaurant in Boston. Every dish is memorable. I have never had a bad meal there.

Attended the Scottish Bard event this past month. It was amazing. Starting off with the personal attention by waitstaff, chefs and bar masters. They had a unique set of cocktails using scotch that were fabulous, blends of earthy spirits, with citrus and spice undertones. Passed appetizers were creative and varied. My husband and I both enjoyed the salmon on house... More

Food is excellent and James the Mixologist is fantastic. I am not crazy about the atmosphere. Very tight quarters - tables are so close to each other and I feel like I was dining with the people next to me. I also wish that people with children under a certain age would dine elsewhere. This is a high end restaurant... More
