Nice spot for breakfast. Reasonably priced & the waitress was really nice. I had the New England Sampler which came w/ a lot of food. Recommend if you’re in the area.

"The Mug" on Snow Rd., in Marshfield (next to Ocean State Job Lot) is a hidden jewel for breakfast and lunch as far as I'm concerned.. My wife and I went there today. It was afternoon, but I wanted breakfast (they do breakfast all day)...and she did lunch. My meal was one of their specialties "The New England Omelette"...a 3 egg giant for 8.99 stuffed with: bacon, ham, sausage, onion, tomato slices, green pepper, and cheese. It is served with home fries, toast or english muffin. I also opted for a side of hollandaise sauce to pour over the omelette. I can honestly say that it was one of the best breakfast meals I've had in a while! My wife decided to do their "Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap" stuffed (and I mean really stuffed) in a nice fresh wrap. You can have your choice of french fries, tater tots, potato salad, or cole slaw...a great deal for 7.49. We both had enough left over to bring home. Sorry no pics...I forgot my cell phone, but you can see some actual pics on their web site. This is definitely now on our list of favorites, and we will be back soon.More

Breakfast is good, prices are okay. Nothing fancy, but staff is very friendly and accommodating. Menu choices are limited.

I grew up in Marshfield and as a teen.. (This restaurant was previously known as the “mug and muffin”. ) I always stopped for tea before work. I Met my boyfriend (who is now my husband) here... who also stopped for coffee on his way...to work. We had a pack of children ( or as my husband likes to call them “his team” 5 boys one girl) we started taking our family here for breakfasts! Now our kids are grown and they ALL, with their now spouses and children , along with my husband just brought me back for a birthday celebration breakfast! We have a literal life time of memories here. The food is fantastic, the place is nostalgic and clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating ( we were a party of 16) ! It is great for both couples and families! Grandparents and grandkids alike! The food though... so good!More

I have come by on several occasions and within a minute or two, a pleasant smiling waitress if I would like coffee as she passes me the menu. There are several options for egg dishes, which can be prepared to your liking. Friendly service, low...prices keep this breakfast place always full.More

We happened to be in the area in late morning. Decided to stop in for a quick breakfast and was not disappointed. Haven’t been here in years only because we are never in that area of town. We were quickly seated and the wait staff...person was immediately at the table to take a beverage order. We ordered breakfast items and they were fresh, hot and excellent. Looking for an excuse to be in that part of town again for breakfast or lunch. They are not open for dinner.More

Had a broccoli and cheese omelette. Good size. Fresh broccoli. Nicely cooked. A little more seasoning would help. The home fries were a little starchy, and the toast is still wondering when the butter is coming. Pretty much what I would expect for the price....Staff were friendly.More
