Wonderful staff, great menu, delightful drinks, and they listened to our request to be sat a bit off the beaten path to reduce how many people were around - wonderful! Only dropped a star because the food taste was just fine. There wasn't much flavor...in the smothered brunch burrito or short rib and chorizo hash. Absolutely will be back, just knowing it won't be a knock-your-socks-off meal.More

The waitress was great but she was extremely over worked managing over 15 tables by herself while playing hostess and bussing her own tables. The bartender never left her space to assist the waitress.

Stopped in for Sunday dinner and were seated at a high top behind the bar. Crowd was lively, bartender was in the weeds and seemed like waitstaff was overwhelmed. Waitress asked for our drink order and was told that the restaurant didn't have anymore Pinot...Grigio and we were like how can that be?? Stuck mostly with water after that. Ordered Bistro Burger, Chicken Quesadilla, Gnocchi, and Baked Haddock. Overall the Food was average although the Baked Haddock was a standout, Service was below average. With all the choices out there we most likely will not return.More

Food is average to very good . Service is not too good , although they tried . Parking is horrible in Malden Square. Park there & you will be subjected to an overly aggressive parking enforcement that will just love to tag your vehicle. Overall..., would not choose this location mostly due the parking ticket you will have on your vehicle windshield when you leave . Guessing it’s a farewell gift from the city as people will not return to Malden Square. Bye bye !More

Recently had function for 50 people and while food was good restaurant was so understaffed it ruined event. Two separate functions going on and regular restaurant business on Sunday afternoon and only 1 bartender so very difficult to get a drink. It was a warm...day and function room very warm, asked manager if a/c could be turned up and he was very rude and did nothing. Will never use for a function again, too bad because food was good and the few staff there tried hard but just not enough for two large functions and regular Sunday patronsMore

We stumbled across this bar and restaurant while searching yelp for something decent and accessible to our B&B. It was a Sunday night so not very busy. We were greeted pleasantly and seated immediately. Warm bread and whipped butter followed, delivered by the seating hostess....We asked her what she most liked on the menu and she immediately said “the fish tacos. I do t even like fish but these are great.” Our server, Deanna, soon followed for drinks. We opted for Belvedere martinis which were generously sized and well made although the glasses could have been colder. We asked Deanna what she liked on the menu and she not only told us what she liked but what the most popular sellers were. We decided on the fish tacos to share as an appetizer, the Herbed Brick Chicken for me and the Short Ribs with Pappardelle for my dining partner. The chicken was moist, tender and covered with their version of a savory teriyaki sauce which was delightful, not overly seasoned, and included “foraged mushrooms”. This was served with a large portion of amazingly good au gratin potatoes (I wanted to lick the plate) and some simply prepared caulilini. I commented that I thought the bed could benefit from some acid, a vinegar sauce perhaps, to counter the richness of the potatoes and the chicken. The huge portion of pappardelle and short ribs was served simply in a large bowl with sauce and more mushrooms. The beef was tender and the noodles perfectly cooked, offset with with an onion laden sauce. A good dish. We were so full from dinner we didn’t eat the bread pudding f dessert yet which is in the refrigerator, but we look forward to raiding it about midnight. All in all we had little to complain about and Deanna was a joy. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.More

It's always a gamble going out on a holiday (and Sundays generally). We took my mother-in-law to Exchange Street Bistro on Sunday for dinner. I cannot praise the service enough. OUTSTANDING!! We had two wonderful servers who tag teamed and an excellent bus person. We...all had some specialty drinks which were interesting takes on standards. We shared the mussels which were prepared with chunks of chorizo - yummy! I had the herbed brick chicken which was moist and flavorful, BIL had rack of lamb which he loved. MIL had fist and DH had ribeye. We were all blown away by the food. We will be back!More
