With its “refined rustic” decor, Max Burger features American-style comfort food such as all-natural gourmet burgers and sandwiches, craft beers, and decadent desserts, as well as an array of tantalizing appetizers and entrees. It's a more laid-back restaurant compared to the other Max locations and has won many rave reviews and has an extremely loyal following.
Enjoyed a delicious burger, cooked perfectly. I had the Maple Whiskey burger... with arugula, caramelized onion, blue cheese, bacon and cooked as ordered medium rare! Fries were excellent too, and the service...
food was ok, ordered online and saw that adding toppings (like cheese, veggies, condiments, etc) was extra EACH. quality was ok. won't eat here again though. felt I could get better food for a better price elsewhere.
Most awkward encounter just to pick up food. Three people standing at the greeting counter. The only one that said hello was someone who worked in the grill area lol. I said “I’m not sure who I’m supposed to talk to..” as none of them...(other than the grill staff who promptly walked away after) said hello. The old lady standing there said “then don’t talk to anyone” - She didn’t laugh or indicate this odd comment was a joke so I think she’s just terribly rude. Then she walked away. This left a younger girl who then got my food and took my money. She handed me back dollar bills and said “I don’t have change so sorry I can’t give you your 76 cents..” certainly not in dire need of 76 cents, however you’d think the establishment would eat the difference and round up the customers change... so this was odd enough. Get home and the food was just gross. My fiancé got a salad with chicken on it. 18 DOLLARS for a salad that would rival a side salad and some half assed chicken. Place is a total rip off, staff are odd and rude and quite frankly if they wanna keep that snooty Longmeadow vibe, they better work on their approach. Never going back.More
I have never experienced a bad meal here. The variety of choices on the menu make it easy to take all members of my family. The burgers and fry choices, the salads with protein additions and the complete meals are great. My vegetarian and vegan...can find something satisfying. The deserts always are a great addition. The choices of beers on tap change with the seasons.I Have bought lifetime beer mugs for my grandson and son in law. The manager and his staff are always working to make every visit pleasant.More
This was not our first time going to Max Burger in Longmeadow. The food is always good, but the noise level can make conversation nearly impossible. We arrived on the early side, 5 pm. By the time we left, a large party was there for...a beer tasting, signaling the end of our visit. I don't enjoy needing to yell at the people at my table to be heard.More
Besides burgers they have tons of other options, e.g.salads, fish and chips, grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, salmon, and much more. I had a steak and cheese sandwich. It was pretty good, steak maybe a bit thick and tough but not bad. Prices are relatively...reasonable. Lots of beer choices. Kids menu too. Our waitress started off a bit gruff but then was pretty good.More
