The Prix Fixe menu was very good and offered sufficient choices at every level of the dining experience. The filet was very good, scallops exceptional and the other courses were first rate as well. However, a multi-course meal was not what one of us desired and led to frustration. Regrettably, there were no other dining options available at this restaurant.

The prixe fixe menu is a delight and challenging -- what to select to try all the flavors and offerings? The gnocchi, followed by the scallops were both wonderful. The cheese offering was a bit uninspired.

I ordered rack of lamb and my friend ordered salmon. For the $59 prix fixe, I was served 2 tiny lamb chops, with maybe 2 or 3 bites of meat each, with just a fair taste. The portion of salmon was medium size but ordinary in taste. We asked if the vegetables could be steamed without butter, and were told... More

We paid $50 for the price fix dinner (recently increased from $40) and given the price and the Cranwell reputation expected much more. Dinner was served in a lovely room; Unfortunately there were numerous houseflies, three of which I killed during the meal. We overheard another server explaining that the flies were coming from the kitchen; not all that appealing!... More

Had a nice meal here the other night. The mansion has great ambiance for a lovely meal. We had the $ 40 price fixe. The salad with goat cheese was very good as well as the fresh bread. We ordered the lamb chops with parsnip purée, which was good, but somewhat tough. We ordered the bread pudding and fresh berries... More

We loved every course of the very reasonable price fix dinner, $40 seems a bargain. Awesome zucchini cheddar chowder, Cesar salad, cod, salmon and maple walnut bread pudding! Taste and presentation were perfect. Loved the atmosphere and friendly service.

I loved the dining environment of the Wyndhurst Room. It is an old mansion that has been converted into the main dining room for Cranwell Resort. The food was delicious and the environment was romantic.

To be treated like royalty, to dine like a king and to be served as though you are the lord of the manor is part of the experience at the Wyndhurst Dining Room at Cranwell. Food choices have an elegance to them that is borne out in the taste and preparation. Wine list is exquisite with something for every budget.... More

The maitre d was very nice and our waitress was as well. I had the salad with a squash blossom and strawberries and it was very good. My mother had the caprasse salad and enjoyed it. She also had the soup which was portabella bisque and was very pleased. I had the halibut entre and it was delicious and cooked... More
