The resturant we wanted to go to was closed so we went to Frankies. It was a little pricey, but the food and service were very good. The owner and servers were very attentative.

We have taken out food before from Frankie's and really enjoyed it. This time our order was sub-par. The chicken piccata was thick and dry, the eggplant lasagna was a very small portion and was cold.
This was completely spur of the moment after a service in the area. The hostess advised they were booked for the evening. While we were waiting for two seats at the bar to open the hostess said she has a table for two if we...could finish our meal in an hour and a half. We said that would be fine with us. We spilt a Frankie salad as an appetizer and they served it in individual bowls, that was a nice touch that is not done frequently anymore. We both felt like veal so we got one parmigiana and the other piccata. Both were tender, cooked perfectly, and delicious. The piccata came with green beans and gratin potatoes. The parmigiana was served over linguine with house marinara sauce which was delicious. We got two perfectly packaged deserts to go in order to free the table up with time to spare. The tiramisu, house made, was fantastic and traveled just fine. The next time we are going to be in the area we will make reservations and go back again. Every dish we saw go by looked and smelled amazing. The service was excellent. I would call this a true old school Italian restaurant ( that is meant as a big compliment)More
Frankie's is one our our favorite restaurant,it is Italian never had a bad meal ,hats off to the chef Roman who we know. The staff is very wonderful, not forgetting the owner Molley.I recommend Frankie's 100% we have been dining at Frankie's for about 5 years wonderful...place.More
This is a large bustling restaurant. Quite busy but the service was very good. Plenty of appetizers and salads to choose from. We each had the garden salad, a traditional salad with balsamic viniagrette, quite large. Our main courses included Chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala....Both were delicious. Highly recommend!More
We visited Lenox during leaf peeping season when there were a lot of tourists like ourselves in the area. We called ahead and were able to get a 5:00 dinner reservation, which is a little early for us, but we took it anyway. We were...so glad we did. The lovely hostess/waitress sat us right near an open window, which for us was like heaven because it was a beautiful day and we don't like germs. The food was magnificent! The waitress told us that someone had called out and they were short staffed. You would never have known it. Everything flowed like clockwork and we gobbled everything up, with a bottle of wine of course! One of the best Italian meals ever!More
Frankie's was one of the few Lenox restaurants open on Tuesday. Very happy with our choice. Excellent food and service. We sat inside in a booth that looked on the lighted window. Very cozy! My husband ordered the seafood pasta, and it was the best...he's had as it was loaded with seafood. The specials were great. Highly recommend!More
We came right at 5pm and were seated right away. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We started with the Calamari fritti, and Truffle fries. Both were outstanding. Then we got the Summer Pasta which was very light and delicious and the Chicken...Picatta. I've attached photos of everything. Can't wait to come back!!!More
I really have no complaints. The environment was amazing. The wine was great. My boyfriend and I both had chicken parmesan and it was amazing. The waitress also fantastic and provided recommendations for our stay in the Berkshires.
My husband and I had chicken parmigiana and chocolate lava cake…both were delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant.
Good service and mostly delicious food. Wasn't crazy about the carbonara, but really liked the chicken parm and was over-the-moon for the chocolate molten cake. No kidding - if you recall the restaurant scene in When Harry Met Sally ... this warm chocolate molten cake...was THAT good.More
By all means, eat at Frankie's. Reservations are a MUST. The menu is New York City worthy and the quality matches any level a foodie might want. Chicken piccata was perfect. A small square of scalloped potato and green beans were accompaniments. .
The staff and food at Frankie’s are outstanding. We missed our reservation by 15 mins because of our play running over. I called ahead to let them know and they were very understanding and accommodating. Our server was outstanding as well, very friendly and attentive....If you are a vegetarian there are many options for you on the menu, including a separate vegan menu. My wife ordered a vegan mushroom pasta dish and was quite happy with it. I also had a pasta dish with mushrooms, pancetta and cream that was quite good. For dessert we had brown butter cake with strawberry sorbet that was delicious. We started things off with he grilled artichokes that were as good as everything else. So why not a 5? Two reasons. First, we ate in the front dining room and it was quite loud, due largely to a wine-induced bachelorette party and the general noise from the bar. Second, our table was in a high-traffic area near the server station. Every time someone walked by, which was often, our table shook because of the old floors. We ended up sliding over a couple of tables as the crowds emptied out, which helped. Tip: Eat outside on the deck if weather permitsMore
On a summer Thursday evening, with a reservation, we waited an inordinate amount of time to order and be served. We only ordered main courses. They arrived an hour after we did. The bread and dipping oil arrived after the main courses. The eggplant parm...was delicious. Maybe try earlier in the week in the summer.More
I love a place with good food AND CHILD FRIENDLY! They really catered to my 1 year old with crayons and paper, sippy cup, quick yet quality food. Loved sitting outside at the picnic tables too. Fabulous service and great dinner right in downtown Lenox.
