Wonderful little place with very friendly service. I was looking for a great cup of tea. They had Jasmine Pearl which is just what I needed after driving 4 hours! They had just closed but the server gave me my tea to go anyway. That was wonderful and sweet.

My husband and I recently spent some time in the Berkshires, and the meal we had at the Church Street Cafe in Lenox, MA was absolutely the best meal of the week. We started with Burrata Caprese. The burrata was so creamy and the heirloom tomatoes were great. My husband had Cod en Papillotte (cod baked in parchment paper) with... More

We offered payment for opening our wine, they refused. We did not order wine, however they did sell us their beer. The place was not crowded though it took a long time to get it to the table...to be fair : the food was good.

We were referred here by Alta, which was booked up and shares the same management/ownership. The server was very pleasant but completely mixed up who ordered which dish (4 out of 4 were wrong). This was not a biggie to us, we thought he was just overwhelmed, although our dining room was fairly empty. We might have had more drinks... More

My husband and I heard a lot of great reviews of this cafe and we decided to try it for dinner while we were visiting Lenox, MA. All the greats reviews were spot on. This is a small, quite, cozy restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu was interesting as it did not have a lot to choose... More

We were fortunate enough to be able to sit outside on the patio on an October evening. Our server was excellent and attentive, and particularly helpfiul to our friend with a gluten allergy. They were willing to devise almost anything on the menu for gluten issues. We shared a venison stew, which was excellent, and a Caesar salad.

Directed here when unable to get into their sister restaurant, Alta, over the road. Nice space, welcoming steff and good food. My husband had cofit of duck with a mustard cream sauce and I had chicken breast with salsify, parsnip puree and hazelnut jus. Portion sizes just right. Simple food well done.

The steak frites were well prepared and flavorful, though a bit light on the frites. The cod was very good. Desserts are homemade and very good. Service excellent. They have a couple of small rooms in a house-like atmosphere so not noisy or crowded.

Had dinner before attending an event at Tanglewood and absolutely would return. We shared an appetizer and a salad, which were both well-prepared. The entrees (pork tenderloin and cioppino) were excellent. Our server was friendly and professional. Highly recommend making a reservation if attending an event, as the restaurant filled early.
