Nice

A very quiet Saturday night dinner. We had a 3 course meal for $39. The veal short rib was great and the salmon was very good. There was only one server taking care of the bar, host, runner, server and whatever else was needed to do. We didn't get her name but she did the best job she could. We... read more

Our visit did not start out well. There was only one other seated table at 7PM on a Friday. The menu was a list of things a trained monkey could cook--beef Burgundy, sirloin steak, braised veal, etc. We ordered a bottle of wine, were asked for the number on the wine menu, and after a while we were told that... Thank you for your review. I'm glad you were pleasantly surprised despite your initial misgivings. In the winter we opt for solid, warming comfort foods which may seem simple, but elevated in execution and presentation. We look forward to your return visit. More

Seriously the most amazing food ever! There was not one meal that I didn't love. I would highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

We enjoyed a long romantic weekend as a special birthday gift for my sweetheart. The inn is over one hundred years old and we had a very cozy room, with large bed and gas fireplace. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet on the weekends and live music in the lounge. It is in the middle of Lenox and everything you... More

if you want a quiet atmosphere and delicious food after a hectic day- eat here. The service was first rate as well. We really appreciate the availability wine from a local winery. There really was something for everyone on this varied menu. We had veal cutlets. Expecting them breaded they actually were served in a delicate sauce that was much... More

Recently visited the Gateway Inn for dinner and ordered one the fixed menu options. The food and service were very good. Enjoyed dessert and coffee in the lounge while listening to entertainment. The neon OPEN sign in the window is tacky and needs to be removed as this is an upscale establishment.

The owners of The Gateways Inn & Restaurant are so nice. They made suggestions for my husband and I that were perfect for our one night, two day stay in Lenox, MA (our first time in the Berkshires.) Their food was wonderful and their jazz entertainment the evening we were there was so enjoyable. We are grateful our journey was... More

Gateways definitely has the look. A beautiful B&B, great lounge to hang while listening to music and grab a bite, but their restaurant really lacks consistency and a service level that reflects the rest of the place. On our last visit we had the prix fixe (a good deal) and a la carte choices. The food was mixed. The sides... More

️The Gateways Restaurant is a fun place with delicious, unfussy food. We had dinner on a Saturday night. Good wine list. My duck breast was perfect with garlicky Swiss chard (would have liked more of it), my wife had a juicy chicken breast. The piano afterwards had a talented vocalist and librettist playing Broadway and related show tunes. Worth a... More

We had the chicken, beef, and fish on a crowded Saturday evening. Everyone's food was fresh and hot and delicious. The sides were creamy mashed potatoes that melt in your mouth and vegetables. Everything was great & everyone in our large party enjoyed the slow, relaxed pace of dining @ the Gateways Inn. Thank you Michele & Eiran for making... More
