Lovely old inn with friendly service, really good food, and reasonable prices. Three, four, and five-course prix-fixe menu with optional wine pairings. Good selection of local beers, though nothing on draft. Live music in the lounge. Convenient in-town location. Wonderfully restored and maintained property.

We are never disappointed any time we have visited the Jazz bar at this lovely Inn. The music is always first rate. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. The wait staff is very attentive to special dietary requests. Yes, there is a $15 cover per person but you can use that for food & drink. They have lovely plates... More

Though we were staying elsewhere, we chose the Gateways Inn for a relaxed dinner on Sunday night since there was no evening performance at Tanglewood. We had frequently admired the building when driving by, and the interior is equally attractive. The Inn is a family-run enterprise, and we were greated and seated by the mother of our waiter, who told... More

the food was quite good, but we opted for the lounge as we didn't have a reservation. the restaurant had good reviews so we went. we sat in the lounge. the 'act' wasn't especially good and made it difficult to converse.

Excellent across the board -- food, service, & atmosphere. Everyone in our arty of three had something different, and we each loved both our entrees and our deserts.

Menu is prix fixe in 2016, for the first time. Somewhat pricey, but entirely worthwhile given the consistently excellent food and beautiful building and dining rooms. And open late! (sometimes til midnight)

From the loaning of a pair of reading glasses, to choice of a superior wine (not costly), to a meal service that was prepared under special salt free instructions (with a mother's care), ...what an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you Linnie (server) and the Gazits for a superb evening.

Our purpose at this hotel was for fine dining, and that's what we received. The menu had something for all in a choice of three different priced pre fix dinners. Food served at the proper temperature in a timely manner and with a smile. We returned a few days later to enjoy the bar menu seated in a comfortable and... More

We had dinner On a Sat night early August. I can only say that reservations are a must as the place is packed and constantly busy. We were taking our daughter and son- in-law out for their anniversary so we wanted a nice place with good food and service. This place is rated tops by Trip Advisor and we don't... More

What an amazing evening we had.. From the moment we were greeted in the entryway, we were welcomed and given a brief, yet personalized showing of the lounge and bar area. Mike, the manager, is a very attentive asset to this lovely establishment . He made us feel at home and seemed to be very helpful to the staff. What... More
