It was pretty busy but ordered some burgers to go... very juicy, homemade, and delicious! The fries were very crispy and hot! Chocolate shake was liked they used to make them. Yummy! Good diner food!

The thing is, the 2 waitstaff were really not friendly. The irony is - they have a slogan on their walls that reads: Be Nice. The irony wasn't lost on me. It's a small place with some counter seats and some tables. We sat at the counter and couldn't get a smile from either of the waitstaff, even ordering things... More

Being from NJ means diners are nothing special to me. The same holds true for eating at Joe's. Breakfast was standard diner fare at a low price. Food was served warm even though the place was not busy. I wanted to eat here because of the Norman Rockwell fame. I doubt we will return

Joe's Diner is a hidden gem in the Berkshires! Good food, good prices, good service. Ate lunch at Haven yesterday and the food wasn't half as good and the prices were double.

This is the diner that was the subject of Norman's Rockwell's artwork, The Runaway. We had the Thursday special, corned beef dinner, for $8.95. Plenty to eat.

If you want a good value meal this is the place to go. My wife and I make a special trip to Joe's every chance we get while visiting from California and the owner's are wonderful friendly people.

After a 13 hr drive, we were ready to unwind and Joe's was perfect. A local place recommended to us by the Chambrey Inn where we were staying, it was perfect for good food (a notch up from 'just bar food'). We liked the neighborhood atmosphere. Would eat here again.

Loved it. Ate lunch there, typical diner food-hearty and good. Service was wonderful. You must check out the restroom-when sitting in there you will be about 5 feet away from the railroad track. Run, baby, run if you hear a train. Check out the antique jewelry shop next door. The owner really knows her stuff. Very fairly priced inventory.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Can't beat the prices. Set in a funky back to the 50's cafe style. Friendly service

Went there for lunch since it was a recommended "Rockwell painting" site. It was like stepping back in time to a traditional 50's diner. So hearkening back to our childhood, we ordered a burger, fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was homemade and was awesome. The highlight was the shake. It arrived at the table in the metal container... More
