If you are in a hurry their sign says go somewhere else. They are not kidding! Sandwiches are made to order using Boars Head deli. Although a little high priced, the quality is good. Sandwiches come with a pickle spear. Chips extra. They also have chowder salads and take out meat by the pound. Two sandwiches and one drink almost... More

As we departed the Mass Pike on our way to Tanglewood we found this Cafe/Deli right off the exit. We stopped, got in line and placed our order with the friendly staff - noting that we were on our way to Tanglewood. Within less than 10 minutes (there were others before us) we received our brown bags with a High... More

Hours on their google site say 11-6. Went at 4 and they were closed. Guy came out and asked us if we were looking for food and said they closed early. Weird place.

This has got to be my most favorite sandwich shop! And I do have a few to choose from, being in western Massachusetts. The owner is personable, and guaranteed to steer you right (if you can't decide). From coffee, to Italian ice, or just great sandwiches, this is a great comfortable spot to just sit back and enjoy. The first... More

We were staying at a hotel nearby and wanted to grab something to-go to take to Tanglewood with us. The gourmet sandwiches were pricey, but worth it. Boars Head meats, fresh veggies, artisan rolls and breads. Delicious.

We stopped here for lunch while passing though Massachusetts, 2 adults, 2 kids. Very few options at this exit and it looked nice so we have it a try. I was 3rd in line to order and it took 20 mins just to order. After I ordered and paid for 4 sandwiches I was told it would be at least... More

Food was very good, but the value was not ... service was slow and food was very blandly placed on a white paper plate ... if you are charging $9 for a panini sandwich, at least include a pickle spear and a few chips (charged $1 for the bag - just annoying) ... 1 sandwich, 1 cup of chowder, bag... Rick, Fairly simple - it is customers like you that will drive me from this business. You come into a Cafe that is clean from front to back (good luck finding a place with a kitchen as clean as mine - that costs money and is why most places could care less about cleanliness - it does not generate revenue,... The food was decent, but the service was terrible. We waited ten minutes to place our order (no one else was waiting), our order came out incorrectly (no apology and the man asked if I'd eat the sandwich as is), the replacement sandwich took so long to make that I had to take it to go, and the food was... Tara, I remember your visit well. I had about 12 sandwiches in the que at the time that you were at the cash register. You waited at the register for 10 minutes to place your order, per your review, because we were working on the 12 sandwiches in the que. The 10 minutes you waited to place your order did... More

Very small and casual restaurant. They have Boar's Head meats which are always good. The sandwiches are huge and very fresh with a variety of breads. Clam chowder is homemade and is one of the best we have ever had. Boulder chips are a plus.
