Trying to find a place for a late lunch after hiking Mt. Greylock we came upon Matt Reilly's. So glad we did. The chowder hit the spot after being in the cold, wind and a bit of freezing rain and the rueben was delicious.

On a beautiful fall day it was a treat to eat on their outside deck. The Seafood Alfredo received rave reviews from our friend as did the butterfly shrimp. The puff pastry sandwich was also very good.

Ate here twice on our visit to the Berkshires. Don't let the looks of the place fool you, it's not fancy but food is great. First visit had sandwiches and they were excellent. Also had the clam chowder and liked it so well went back for it on the second visit. On the the second visit I had the Fisherman's... More

This neighborhood bar and grill is right on the water and located on a highway. We stopped in for a nightcap so we didn't have dinner but the service was friendly and would like to go back again.

Three of us travel from Western PA, one came from Maine for a girls adventure last weekend. We ate here on arrival because we wanted seafood. We had seafood alfredo, a lobster roll with a bowl of clam chowder, and two had swordfish. All of us were very happy with our meals. The next day - after tackling Ramblewild -... More

For pub food, Matt Reilly's is several steps above the usual. The service is attentive and polite; the view is splendid (Pontoosuc Lake) and cant be beat at sunset, Most important, the food is delicious and filling. I had the cod rueben, and it is an odd idea that works splendidly. There are plenty of other ruebens to choose from,... More

Good food, good drinks, good prices. My wife had the lobster. Excellent. The view of the lake was wonderful. It had to feel of a small restaurant / pub.

Each year we take a motorcycle ride through that area and stop there for lunch. This year we had some friends join us who had never eaten there before. We sat outside to view the lake and enjoy the warm sunshine. My husband really enjoyed his reuben sandwich and shared a bite with me. I must say it sure was... More

Opted for outdoor picnic table seating on the deck, beautiful lake view. Greeted by our server, Laureih, who took our drink order. Not much of a wine selection, and surprised by the limited beer list. Chili very good as was new england chowder. Wife enjoyed her greek salad with chicken, but my lobster roll, though loaded with lobster, was only... More
