The food is outstanding and the staff is excellent. Great menu! You get the Boston atmosphere without the drive.

Solstice has become one of our absolute favorites south of Boston. Food, drinks and service are always excellent! Latest visit was still exceptional - enjoyed lamb shank and a special of the day, quail. Pork buns appetizer was also delicious! Menu is quite varied, but seems to be lacking in seafood options. It changes regularly so there always new options.... More
we went on whim, of course reservations needed. On a cold Tuesday nite late in December. Mentioned it was our anniversary in reservation on line, which was confirmed via telephone call later in the day - very nice of management to do this. anyway, we arrived, table was ready... cozy table lower level in the back, the service with Ann... Excellent appetizers with 1st class service and very lively crowd on weekends. The bartenders are really great here and I love the granite bar!
We went here for New Year's Eve. The restaurant is nice, good atmosphere, nicely decorated for the holiday. The parking lot is not well laid out and not big enough. The food was decent, but nothing special. It seemed to be more about the presentation than the actual meal. I thought it was decent, but overpriced.
It was good. In fact, the food was excellent. For our 19th wedding anniversary I took my wife to Solstice for dinner. We've both been hesitant to go because we're not super-fancy restaurant types. I wanted to see the old train station and how they utilized its architectural features. The hostess was immediately friendly and attentive, knowing we had called... More
We had a delicious dinner of baked oysters, salads and wines by the glass at Solstice and just loved it. Pretty restaurant, outstanding service, generous portions and really tasty food. The baked oysters were the perfect New England comfort food--cheesy and flavorful, but not too heavy. Yum!
This was my first visit to Solstice. I was suggested by my nephew. Excellent choice. It is a cozy restaurant with great ambiance. The food and service were superb. My monk fish was prepared perfectly. My wife had the double pork chop that was tender and delicious. However, one member of our group had a wood fired pizza that they... More
Renovated train station with brick walls and wood beams makes for a very cozy, romantic and comfortable atmosphere. Farm fresh ingredients. Pork belly Asian buns and tuna tartar nachos were superb. Lamb shank with root veges, brick chicken also superb. Desserts also very good especially biscotti cookies. Great place for quiet conversation. Definitely a keeper and will return
Arrived with my book group on a Tues nite with a reservation. Hostess still asked how many in our party and kept us waiting for over 5 min in an almost empty restaurant while they set our table. Strange beginning. We were seated next to the non working fireplace that was blocked off. Couldn't they at least have put gas... More
