We stay at this inn and have breakfast here every day. It is also open to the public. There is a large breakfast/brunch selection and it is always good. Waitstaff is knowledgeable and pleasant.
Absolutely lovely restaurant where we shared breakfast with friends. Omelette, sausage and biscuits were amazing! Staff is wonderful and very welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit soon.
The folks at Ipswich Inn do a fantastic job. Sunday morning breakfast was remarkable. Nice proportions, reasonable rates.
Thank you for your kind words
Gluten free French toast is available - do try the French toast with orange sauce and ask for real maple syrup. Eggs Benedict are also very good. And, most important of all, is great!
Had breakfast here twice, both times excellent. Great selection. Corned beef hash Benedict was YUM! Pancakes looked awesome as did everything else we saw coming out of the kitchen! Daily specials.
This is a charming inn with fantastic pancakes! The service is attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. The garden outside is very pretty abd staff is friendly. I like the fruit and yogurt - always fresh and tastes great.
We were staying at the Inn and breakfast at the restaurant came with the room. There was a nice choice of entrees and sides and the service was both prompt and friendly. Everything we had was delicious and came in generous servings. Our big regret...was having to leave behind half the omelette that I was too stuffed to finish!More
THE BEST pancakes. The house pancakes have blueberries, bananas, and nuts...most delicious breakfast ever!
We had a very pleasant breakfast and were impressed by the specials on the menu. The food was very good and the prices reasonable. We consider the Inn's restaurant to be a "find" and will return soon.
Thank you !!
This inn looks like a typical New England place to stay. Although we have not stayed there we have heard for other in the community that it is very comfortable and the owner are very friendly. We love to go there for breakfast.
Eat out on the verandah(weather permitting) or in a lovely enclosed sun porch, of a lovely historic house that's now a B&B. Excellent service, prices and selection a short few tree-lined historic blocks from downtown Ipswich. If you're a guest at the inn, breakfast is...complimentary, with any breakfast item you may have a hankering for, at a price that's very affordable.More
You should also be sleeping at the Inn- we did and had breakfast as well. It was glorious. Almond Joy French Toast for the wife, and eggs with all the other stuff for husband. We loved it.
Had a fantastic brunch on a Friday morning. I can imagine it being packed out on weekends. (Easy to find though Ipswich's main traffic intersection - sans lights - is not for the faint of heart.) Great coffee. Had their Inn special - excellent food....Sat outside which was lovely. The interior is like walking through a time capsule. Don't miss this one.More
We were guests at the Ipswich Inn for several nights, and Ray and Margaret are fabulous chefs! Ray prepared salmon and Haddock on two separate nights and they were prepared perfectly! The roasted vegetables were delicious. Desserts of fresh fruit with Ice Cream was the...perfect finish. We recommend this Inn for your special occasion.More
