This is a terrific restaurant offering a large and varied menu. All of the appetizers are great, and the portions are ample. Service is good. We ate in the tent outdoors, and it was a very pleasant environment.
What a wonderful meal. We ordered a range of dishes, all were wonderful and well sized. The Gigantes (elephant beans) dish was especially tasty and filling. Lamb lollipops were also delicious. Be sure to visit for a delightful meal.
I would hate to be a part of the waitstaff, telling people it's on the menu but we don't have it. I was beyond disappointed when the first 2 entrees were sold out at 6pm. They oppen at 4. Poor buying and even more poor...planning. I will not be coming back nor would I recommend it to anyone.More
Hospitality amd service was everything during our 1st time at Ithaki. Fine dining, attentive/genuine service from the hostess to our server.
Dinner was great. Beet salad was perfectly balanced.
Spanakopita was good but the filling was a bit too creamy. A bit more acidity would...have been welcome.
The crusted scalops were simply delicious. The salmon was nicely cooked but under seasoned.
Our server recommended a dry, white wine from Greece). The wine was crisp and smooth.
Overall, an enjoyable experience. We will return.More
Can't wait to come back to this spot! Met up with some family after a memorial service for my late uncle and it was, in a lot of ways, like coming "home." We were met with open arms upon our arrival, and the atmosphere was...abundant in warmth and good vibes. Our service was exceptional - first class, really; the food itself was to die for! There was so much to choose from and everything was so flavorful. I have a pretty simple palate in general and this was my first experience with full-on Mediterranean Cuisine - if you have a first-timer that you are trying to open up to new things, this is definitely the place to take them!! It always shows when a place has a Chef and staff that are passionate about what they do, and these guys for sure take pride in their work. Will definitely be back!More
Mom (gluten-intolerant and picky eater) and I had a lovely dinner at Ithaki. Dishes are made-to-order, so most can be tailored to gluten-free or other food allergies. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Every dish that she recommended was spot on (e.g. the scallops were...packed with layers of flavor) and her wine pairings were great as well. If you like dry, white wine, the
From the menu. The Spanakopita was substantial (but not outstanding, compared to the rest of the meal. IMHO, it lacked a touch of acidity to awake the creaminess of the spinach).
The poached pear salad was delicious. All flavors well-balanced.
Pan-seared scallops were prepared with a bacon crust and the parsnip puree was a pleasant surprise. Delish!
The catch of the day (Sole) was good.
And the bottle of dry, white wine (from Greece) was bright, crisp, and smooth.
I look forward to my next visit.More
Ithaki has always offered great Greek food, and that remains so during the pandemic. The menu is varied and extensive, with creative cocktails, a nice wine list, and offerings for vegetarians as well as those seeking meat or fish. Ithaki has erected two large tents...for outdoor dining, and has done a great job creating safe, comfortable and socially distanced settings.
I repeat a prior tip: Make sure to leave room for the pistachio baklava with pistachio ice cream.More
So as a Greek and someone who has grown up in the area, you might think this review is just padding the portfolio of the Ithaki restaurant but - at 57, I had never been there until last night. Greeks who cook at home usually...go to Greek restaurants just to complain about the food (unless, just maybe, they are actually in Greece). But my daughter’s friend had never had Greek food and, not having time to cook, figured it would at least be good enough for a novice.
OMG, I wish I could have ordered everything on the menu - and now that I know, I’ll work my way through it. Family oriented yet sophisticated little place. Just luscious and we’ll deserving of its title as best Greek restaurant in Massachusetts
We are only choosing outdoor dining options, these days. This has been our best experience yet! Not only do they offer a lovely venue - the food is exceptional! I had pasta with a basil sauce, finished with asparagus & peas. Fresh, fresh, fresh! My...husband had the homemade pasta with white clams sauce. Lots of yummy clams & garlic. And the bread with a red pepper spread was amazing! Anyway, if you're in the area- this is the place! Good food, excellent service and outdoor dining.More
I called in an order last night and had grape leaves, spinach feta pie, and the lamb shank. All were very well made. The leaves were nicely seasoned with a touch of mint/oregano in the stuffing and served in a lemon sauce. The spinach feta...was a rectangular self-contained pie (like a turnover)) about 4 in by 5 in - very nicely made - crisp flaky pastry, fresh dill. The lamb shank was superb: a big meaty shank, very flavorful and tender served a bed of orzo, with a well-seasoned sauce (I'm guessing red wine, pan braising, little bit of tomato). That was dinner at home for 2, $55 - a fair price for the quality of food. Staff was efficient and friendly. They look to also have a nicely stocked bar. Elegant (not stuffy) n setting, preparation and presentation - definite recommend!!More
