jettie's consistently makes the best ARTISAN bagels around. i haven't tasted one i didn't like, but my favorite is the asiago. and the scallion/red onion cream cheese is unique and delicious. a terrific place to grab a quick bite or to take home when entertaining.
For those who love Bagels and Muffins, Jetties Bagels is worth the trip. They've been on Depot Square for about two years in the downtown area near the rail road tracks..... Everything is homemade. And their fresh coffee is very good and ground on the...premices too.....When it comes to taste, their bagels and muffins are definitely yummy..... We've tried the Cider & Asiago bagels with honey walnut cheese spread at different times. They have a variety of different spreads as well........At other times we had the Pumpkin Spice and Chocolate Chip Muffins which were great. The place is very small but we found it to be a nice place to sit and have a cup of coffee and tea to break up a day of doing errands and things.....And they actually have hot water with the tea. And of course, Tracy always gives great and friendly service.......More
i travel 45 minutes to buy bagels from jetties even though there are 4 different bagel bakers within a 2 mile radius of my home. jetties bagels are different - they tend to be flatter and lighter - the hole is barely visible. there are...not dozens of varieties - just a handful. and the spreads are heavenly - especially the scallion/redonion. the bagels are constantly being made so always fresh and the prices are reasonable. while there are a few tables, this is not really a choice for a more formal breakfast - better to buy bagels here and bring them home!More
The staff were really kind and helpful to two strangers with a problem with their rental car. They helped by calling the rental company for us and then working out what our difficulty was. The coffee and muffins were great too!
After an early morning flight, I was hungry and we stopped at Jetties on the way home. What a treat! The bagels have nice texture and are so fresh! I will be back very soon! The location is perfect too, right in downtown Ipswich by...the train station and parking isn’t difficult. Jetties is a nice addition to the offerings in downtown Ipswich. I love the fact that the bagels are freshly made and there is good coffee too.More
This is a new place in Ipswich, and I was leery about it when it opened. Storefront did not look very welcoming to me, but I stopped in one morning and gave it a run. Delicious bagels that sell out fast. Hot right out of...the oven. It looks like plenty of people have discovered this place. REally great!More
I don't use "OMG" often, but this little joint serves some of the best bagels we have experienced at unbelievably low prices. We've experienced bagels from NY, to Boston, Tampa to Maine and these properly prepared, amazingly fresh water bagels are outstanding. We have not...seen prices this low in many years, but when you've got a great product, they sell a lot. Even their sandwiches are priced to make your tummy and wallet very happy. Their house made fresh cream cheeses are excellent, with a good selection. The small, but enthusiastic staff made us feel important and welcomed. We travel quite a distance to get these bagels, an it is worth the time and fuel.More
We've been to Jetties Bagels many times. This Sunday morning I had THE BEST fresh onion bagel slathered with garlic herb whipped cream cheese. Both the bagel and the cream cheese were the perfect consistency. I have tried several of the bagels here and they...are great. They do not need toasting. The people working at Jetties are wonderful too. We'll be back again and again!More
Properly boiled then baked the fresh bagels are very good and available in many varieties. Traditional smoked salmon now available and cream cheeses in various flavors are available as well as good coffee, breakfast sandwiches, iced and hot coffee. Lunchtime they serve sandwiches. Friendly Counter...service, eat in or take out. A well needed addition to a town that lacks a bakery.More
