Always loved this restaurant nothing has changed still great!!! Loved the homemade sausage, homemade bread, pasta excellent, thought the Caeser salad was good but a little over priced, everything else I wouldn't change a bit, wish they were open for lunch

A tour group I had organized was scheduled for dinner at an Italian restaurant in Hyannis. The restaurant we had booked called to report that they had to close temporarily due to a kitchen fire. In a panic, I contacted Il Maestro Ristorante also in Hyannis and the chef-owner Mike could not have been more cooperation or more helpful.. He... More

Enjoyed a fabulous dinner with friends. The anti pasta was a perfect choice for the three of us to share and a great complement to the crusty bread and olive oil. Expect to take your time and enjoy your evening over a fantastic meal - just like when in Italy - the conversation lingers over the courses and you're having... More

We have been going to Il Maestro since the 1980's. We have never, ever had a bad meal at this restaurant at either location. It is one of our favorite places to dine out on Cape Cod. We have lived on the Cape since the early 1970's and we have been to many, many restaurants as we dine out frequently.... More

We got there early and for over one and a half hours no one else came in the door. The bruchetta was attractive but mushy. And our disappointment continued with the dry and wilted salad which was very unappetizing. Did not appear to have been cleaned and because of that, obviously, had no crispness to it. One of us had veal... More

I've been eating here with my family for years. Great family owned place and recipes. Fantastic veal parm and lasagna. Always fresh and delicious. Reservations recommended.

I had enjoyed and reviewed Il Maestro a few years ago and met a friend there for dinner recently. The staff was friendly and the recorded background music as pleasant as ever -- Sinatra, Ella, etc. Yet to say the place was not crowded on a Friday night would be an understatement. I can see why. My chicken bracciolettine on... More

We returned to Il Maestro after some years, having remembered great red sauce and very good food, and were disappointed by tough, flavorless veal and crab cakes with nearly no crab. We did have tasty, fresh salads, and there is a good wine list. There are better Italian restaurants in town

Out celebrating Valentine's Day with family & friends we looked for a special place & we're not disappointed. Chef Michael & staff made the evening memorable. Not on the menu, but should be, was the shrimp parmigiana. Served with fresh pasta, this dish was spectacular. Appetizers of stuffed mushrooms, muscles in a cream sauce & the buffalo mozzarella started the... More

Four of us went here recently. We've been a few times before. Good Italian food including salad, bread, entrees and dessert. They have a three course special available during the off season. Good meal every time we've visited.
