Wasn't sure what to expect, because it has a "chain" look about it, and you have to order in front and they server brings your order. I wasn't expecting much - but then the fish and chips arrived! OMG! I consider myself a fried fish aficionado, and the two huge piece of fried fish were perfect! To make excellent fried... More

Not from here, never been, just hungry. Right from the start, welcomed professionally by a family employee eager to set me on the right track. Had to have the Clam Chowder...Yum. Went right to the fresh Lobster Roll...Yum. With the Chowder appetizer, and the Lobster Roll with hot crispy fries, the amount of food, and its appearance was spot on.... More

While nearby for a family wedding, we took a break from all the togetherness to take advantage of local seafood. Cooke's is a comfortable, straightforward eatery, not at all fancy, but with hard-to-resist fried fish or fresh lobster. We both had po'boys; one was fried shrimp (with cole slaw on the side) and the other fried blue belly clams (with... More

My kid ordered a burger and said it was good. We only ordered fried food, so no comments on other kind of seafood. They have kids menu, as well as a daily specials - similar to their platters, except they are couple dollars cheaper and smaller in portion. That worked well for us.

My senior Aunt and Uncle love this place. I've eaten seafood all over the Cape and I have to agree with the elders: this is the best and most consistent seafood restaurant of it's class. We like to get take out and watch the sunsets on the bay. The menu is mix and match, you have many choices/options and it... More

We got the fisherman's platter for take out. Was disappointing in terms of amount of seafood vs fries. We didn't realize the difference until we got the same platter at a different seafood place, which had almost double the amount of scallops, oysters, and shrimp and was $6 cheaper than Cooke's. We got take-out this time because last year we... More

Having read so many great reviews we had high expectations. The restaurant feels like a fast food cafe with paper plates, plastic cutlery and serve yourself dining so no feedback on service needed. We had lobster rolls which were OK but nothing special. The white wine was very poor so I'd give it a miss even if you normally take... More

Even though this is a chain -- it has great seafood. Nice dining room and some outdoor seating. Yes- the fish is fried, but it's worth the splurge. Reasonably priced and huge portions. Very clean and good service.

Went with my wife shopping and stopped off at Cooke's. We both had the clam chowder. Fantastic. It was thick, creamy, with lots of flavor. We both got a 1/2 fried scallop and 1/2 fried clam strip plate. Seafood was tasty, cooked just right, and not greasy. I would highly recommend,
