Once my wife & I arrived mid-after in Hyannis we made a bee line to the JFK Museum. We only had a good 1 1/2 hour to visit before it closed at 5 pm. But, what caught my eye, directly across on Main Street is the Naked Oyster Restaurant, actually a "Bistro and Raw Bar." It was Mid-October, a late Friday evening dinner at Naked Oyster (NO) which was brimming with fully clothed patrons! You could tell this was a popular place for these Oyster cracking lovers. Our wait wasn't too long and Carly our fabulous waitress escorted to our table. We started with a bottle of a California' Murphy-Goode 2013 Fume Blanc (AKA Sauvignon Blanc) and worked our way into a light meal. Artisan Salad for Madam and 1/2 dozen of the Raw Oysters for this ol' man. Needless to say, they were excellent and so, I ordered another dozen which are oysters fresh from NO's own farm in Barnstable Harbor! Nothing like fresh oysters! We shared a cheese platter of goat cheese, Brie, Smoked Gouda, Gruyere, with pecans and honey. All of it paired well with the Fume Blanc making the evening a delicious event. The place is boisterous but not overbearing and you can tell it's a crowd that seems to know a good restaurant by showing its delight and enthusiasm. A great place, excellent food, lively crowd and very enjoyable!

This lovely bistro in the heart of Hyannis serves outstanding oysters from its own oyster farm. The menu is classically inspired and offers a variety of wonderful local seafood. The specials are to die for. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at the Naked Oyster and loved it!

My wife and I came for our anniversary dinner. I was in contact with Stephanie from the beginning. She was great and very responsive. She made a reservation for me and she was also able to have a bottle of champagne ready for us at our table. When we walked through the door and gave our name, the staff immediately said Happy Anniversary to us. It was very touching. My wife was very emotional and excited. We had a table that was a little away from everyone and was perfect setting. Our waitress came right over and congratulated us and made some small talk. We went with raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller and some mussels. The oysters were very large in size and very flavorful. The Rockefeller were every packed with spinach and the bacon and were excellent. Mussels had peppers in with the sauce and were amazing. For entrees we went with the lobster orzo and the Thai shrimp. Both dishes were so flavorful and excellent. There were lots of big pieces of lobster and shrimp in both dishes. We were too full from all the food, so we passed on dessert, The staff at the restaurant were amazing and I believe we actually had a visit on more than one occasion from the chef/owner? I did a google search of the owner and the picture looked like the woman that came to our table a couple of times asking how things were. If you ever get a chance to eat at Naked Oyster, I would highly recommend it. The food, staff and ambience were great. Thank you to all of the staff for making our special day memorable.

There’s a lot to like about this spot that serves a hearty menu of Cape Cod fare. Plenty of cozy tables and booths for friends, families and dates. All the food is fresh and tasty, yet many dishes lack excitement. With a name like Naked Oyster one would, however, expect an abundance of oysters to lead the way. So why only a single night happy hour a week to offer $1 oysters? There are many area spots that do provide that loss leader to bring in a busy bar scene and regular diners. Come on Naked Oyster. You know why we came — based on your name, so let’s get shuckin’.

we ordered Naked Oyster to go for our 11 person backyard wedding in September. Everyone agreed it was the best food they have had at a wedding! The oysters are incredible, and we were so happy that they are farmed locally by the restaurant. The duck and scallops are not to be missed. It was all delicious.

Yes, I had their oysters. They are in season year round from their private Oyster Farm in Barnstable, MA. They were nice sized, not too briney and very tasty. The menu had an item I have never had, Duck Soup. It was covered with pastry, like a pot pie but thin and delicious. Plenty of good sized chunks of Duck in a broth made from Sherry and Bourbon. I will go back when I am in the area again. Great full bar, plenty of seating and wonderful menu items and specials.

I came to this restaurant on recommendation by Adrian at the Sea Street Inn. Everything here was great. I had the mussles which were hot and savory. I also tried the swordfish on the bone which was a special recommended by the bar tender. It was the best swordfish I had ever eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We usually have our favorite restaurants we go to while in Hyannis but saw this on trip advisor and wanted to try a new place, we especially wanted fresh oysters and they were delicious! My husband ordered a scallop special with polenta, spinach and tomatoes and it was amazing! I ordered flounder with a delicious rustic mashed potato, so good. We went to one of our usual places the next day and it was good but we wished we were back at the Naked Oyster! All the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming, We will definitely be craving their food until the next time we visit.

Delicious oysters and seafood options! Liked the ambience. It wasn't too crowded or loud. There seems to be a lot of regular customers because various staff members were chit-chatting and talking to them like they were catching up. Highly impressed with the lobster orzo and baked oysters.

I was craving oysters! A friend recommended The Naked Oyster. The oysters, that are farmed by the The Naked Oyster, were excellent. Light in texture and flavor, they were perfection. There were 3 of us and all had the same dinner as well, filet with roasted fingerling potatoes. Two ordered special with rice instead, either way was good. One steak was cooked to perfection — beautiful medium rare. The other two were rare -to -well-done, but still good.

This restaurant stop kicked off a week in a Dune Shack on Cape Cod for my wife and me. What a wonderful start. The oysters were some of the best I've had. Briney and sweet. The smoked burrata appetizer was creamy and flavorful, and the lobster Orzo was unctuous! The very best part; however, was the fig martini. Never had one? Try it. It set the tone for this perfect meal that I'll be chasing for a long time.

Excellent fresh oysters shucked right in front of you. Very sweet oysters with a lovely apple Mignonette. The shrimp were extremely large! Everything on the menu sounded delicious. Staff is very accommodating.

Oysters anyone? It was Wednesday, after all, and $1-an-oyster happy hour at Naked Oyster. What kind of oysters? Delicious ones: Duxburys. Four dozen just like that. A solid wine selection, too. We'll be back. The rest of the menu looked fabulous.

I returned to the Naked Oyster with my wife and son recently. This is a lovely restaurant. Great food. Try the raw bar, which is from the Chef's own local oyster farm and is amazing. Great, elegant menu and super service staff. Highly recommend it!
