Another place we always seem to end up is at Alberto's when in Hyannis. It is very convenient to the Hyannis Travel Inn. Almost across the street. Excellent food. Reservations are a good idea. Very popular.

My wife and I visited last week, about 7.30. Good points: Spacious, attractive surroundings, attentive staff, white linen tables etc. But, importantly, food and service were disappointing. It's more American than Italian. I ordered a Saltimbocca which was OK' ish but couldn't taste any sage which is an integral part of this dish. Also, the plate was laden with undercooked... More

There are very few entree's I haven't tried here, but my all time favorite is the cannelloni's. The perfect blend of meats, spinach and pine nuts with the two complementary sauces make for peasant food to remember. I used to make my own, but since I tried Alberto's, I have retired my pasta roller. I must admit, it didn't break... More

The Mussels Fra Diavolo were exceptional. Huge mussels (the biggest we'd seen in many years), in a very tasty broth. The second course, however, was a big disappointment. The "broiled" scrod tasted more like it had been poached, and the entire plate was so under-seasoned and soft that it felt as if we were eating it in a nursing home.... More

If the weather is good sit out on the patio. The food was delicious. We had the lobster ravioli and meatballs. Service is decent but seemed a little rushed.

This restaurant appears to be mid-range type. My family and I entered the restaurant for lunch and were seated promptly. We waited for almost 25 minutes for a server to take our order. This is despite the fact that others came after we walked in and were served. The restaurant was not very busy at all! It appears the servers... More

We were so excited to go back to this establishment that we visited in June 2016, however, the experience was poor at best. The restaurant was very busy with lots of senior tour buses in town but there was still plenty of seating available. We were greeted with a rude statement asking, "did you make a reservation?" We did not... More

Finding good italian food on the Cape can be a challenge. We have found Alberto's to be the closest to authentic italian food that you're going to get. Great Early Bird Specials, with good pricing. Very nice atmosphere and good service.

I held a business dinner for 35 people at Alberto's last weekend in their private room. I do this quite a bit at different restaurants and I will say that the staff there has this type of service on point. Our group was larger than expected and the staff handled it quickly and beautifully. Also- the food came out quickly,... More

Description
Alberto's Ristorante was established in 1984 at which time, Northern Italian cuisine and fresh homemade pasta were introduced to Cape Cod for the first time. Since then, we have continued this tradition of all fresh ingredients and in-house preparation of every course from the soups to the desserts. Our reputation for casual elegance arises from our emphasis on decor, service, the pride we take in food preparation, and our affordability. Over the years, we have received rave reviews from food critics from the Cape Cod Times, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Cape Cod Life Magazine, Fodor's, AAA, and New York Times critic James Beard for "...exquisite Northern Italian cuisine". Our lounge is the perfect setting for a before dinner cocktail, an after dinner espresso, or an even more casual meal. .
