Barbados Bob was on a diplomatic journey to the United States from his home in the Caribbean. His small ship sailed along idyllically on a beautiful moonlit night. Suddenly the sky darkened and the ship was unexpectedly caught in a squall. Barbados Bob was swept off the top deck by a mighty wave into the sea. All through the night, his faithful crew searched for him to no avail. Little did they know the Barbados Bob had been rescued by a Mermaid and brought to the shores of Cape Cod. As she dropped him off safely on the shore she whispered in his ear, "You shall open a Raw Bar and sell the freshest seafood in the land." Come and see why the Raw Bar has been voted the home of the number one lobster

We were in town for a wedding and decided to stop in for a quick app and a drink. The Raw Bar is an exquisite spot right on the harbor with great drinks and amazing appetizers, We had poke tuna sushi which was so fresh...it almost moved. The greatest asset of this eatery is it's staff. Our waitress Jenna was warm, friendly and exceedingly helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and even made conversation with us about our reasons for being on the Cape. Fantastic experience, especially Jenna!More

Went there last night with my husband since we were in Hyannis for the weekend. The four star is because the seafood is fresh which is greatly appreciated, however I didn’t think my salad was worth 27 dollars. The lettuce was super dry as was...the carrot. Seemed like the salad sit there on the plastic container the whole day and then just put lobster on top ( as the food is served on the plastic containers due to the new restrictions). I still gave a 4 star because due to the covid pandemic I appreciated the fact that the menus were downloadable on the phone. Apart from that I do have to stay I wasn’t impressed. We felt rushed and I wouldn’t go back if I were to be in Hyannis again. Every restaurant we’ve been the seafood was fresh so I would pick some other place.More

Stopped in for a lobster roll yesterday, and it was possibly the best one on The Cape. We were there around 3PM, place was pretty empty. They have patio seating and "indoor" seating with huge open windows, so effectively outside. You need a QR reader...to get a menu, and we didn't have one, which we told the server. No offer of a paper menu or some alternative. So we asked about the lobster roll options, which the server dutiful read off. She seemed displeased that we just wanted the large roll ($31) and nothing else. Did I mention the place was pretty empty? Roll came and was great and big, but expensive and no sides -- not a pickle, chips, nothing. That plus the 'tude will stop us from returningMore

We always loved this place. Great lobster and fantastic rum punch, however they closed for good on Sept. 29th. We will certainly miss Bob and the whole gang and hope to see them again soon. Thanks for all the great times!!

Located basically at the ferry in Hyannis port, this restaurant has an upper deck so you can have a view of the harbor. The food came out in plastic containers and at first looked pre-cooked, however we all agreed the food was pretty good -...not great - but I would eat there again. The lobster roll was literally lobster on a bun with a cup of clarified butter. Some may like the "lobster salad" type of sandwich but my guest was eating the lobster with a fork, dipping it in the butter and cutting off a piece of bun to go with it. (he said he preferred the salad type of sandwich a little bit better) The chicken ceasar salad was adaquate (dressing in a plastic package) and service was good. It's so easy if you are waiting on a ferry or don't want to walk to downtown, but don't expect to be wowed, but expect to be pretty pleased.More

A coworker who grew up in that area referred me here. It was amazing, and huge. There was a nice view overlooking the harbor. It wasn't cheap, but lobster rolls are expensive no matter where you go, and this one has so much meat, I...had to eat a great deal of it with a fork. Well worth whatever the current price is!More

Excellent lobster rolls, deservedly celebrated on Cape Cod — order the larger of the two sizes offered, and you'll find it almost too much to eat unless you have quite the appetite. You can get the lobster rolls in their traditional form, with a bit...of mayonnaise binding the lobster meat, which is served cold, or as hot rolls with drawn butter served with the lobster. There's a nice outside eating area on the upper floor of the restaurant, with an appealing view of the water and boats. A pleasant place to have lunch or dinner ….More

I was told to try the lobster roll and it did not disappoint. My wife loved the clam chowder. The beers were very nice and local. alcohol must be consumed in designated spaces (or the beer police will get you.)
