They have the awful green neon light over the flourescent lighted pastry case. Makes their dinner food look like dog food. Green does not shine well on a red sauce, folks. And it is in the eyeline of most tables in the place so good luck getting away from it. Not a good date spot for this reason. Spot is... More

I was so excited to eat here today. I order sirloin tips. I barely could eat them. The meat was gross and chewy. I let the waitress know. There was no offer for a new entree or any money removed from the bill. I had a gift cert too for $25 that they wouldn't honor bc it was expired by... More

Arrived & 4:30 to meet friends at bar! Turned out several seats were reserved and I didn't! That that was appropriate! The other bar wasn't open as yet so we sat at a booth! I think the management should know that menoplyzing the bar isn't "cool"! Just sayin!

I have eaten here several times, but this was the first time to just have a desert. Fantastic Salt Carmel individual pie. Wow was it perfect. We stopped in for a gift certificate and.....it was purchased at the desert counter, hence the experience. I will return.

We stopped for a light dinner. It was Sunday night and many places were not open but this one worked out well. Clam chowder was very good. (we had a lot of chowder to compare on our trip to New England.) Shared some crab cakes which were good but not great. Good service.

This is one of those restaurants where you always feel at ease - nicely decorated, filled with locals and open year-round. I've liked everything I've eaten there which includes Frutti DiMere, Chicken Toscano, and Sole Picatta. Always excellent service.

Went here on a whim and didn't even want italian food. I ordered the papadelle and my dad had the veal parmesan. The papardelle with short rib was really rich and flavorful and my dad enjoyed his veal parmesan, the portion was HUGE and he age the entire plate. Thanks for everything!

The inside is warm and inviting. It is a little loud but the food was delicious especially the eggplant Parmesan and the chicken Toscano. You really need a reservation as there was quite a wait. The limoncello after dinner and the gelato were also delicious. If it was warmer it would have been nice to sit outside. Would definitely return.

Some friends of ours stopped off at Colombo's to pick up Clam Chowder and pastries for desert. The chowder was the best I have ever had, very unique and more flavor than a typical chowder. You have got to try it to believe it. For desert don't miss out on the canoli. They are overstuffed and excellent, better than momma... More

This place is a nice italian fare spot along Main Street. It is loud but cozy. Big problem though is the green lighted sign over the dessert case. Really awful cast on Italian food, looks very unappetizing since red sauces and green light does not mesh. And it is really a harsh ugly light on your guests if you happen... More

Description
The name "Colombo" is the Italian form of "Colomba" the latin word for "dove", which is the "Bird of Peace". It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the everyday occurrences that touch our lives. Great food, drink and conversations are the cornerstones for the sharing of these convivial, day-to-day passions. Colombo's Cafe & Pastries stands for the beloved concept born in Italy of the "gathering place"... Truly a place that "welcomes everyone, everyday... At any time" translating as "Benvenuti a tutti" in Italian, whereby the tried and true, centuries-old tradition of "all are welcome" prevails.Open seven days a week, year round, from 11:30am for lunch and dinner.
