Very simple but extremely tasty food. Their hotdogs are some of the best I have ever tasted. It has been around for a long time and once you taste the food you can see why. I have never seen a door opener like they have either.

Nick's is a staple Holyoke place. Cheap place with good food. Ice Cream in lots of flavors. Nothing fancy but it fills you up.

Ate here constantly as a child/teenager growing up in Holyoke. Was back to visit family and I insisted we go to Nick's Nest for lunch. It was great. I haven't eaten there in 25 years and it was the same - a good thing. The store was the same - right down to the signs to not touch the condiments... More

I grew up on Nicks Nest hot dogs. Whenever I'm within an hours drive I make sure to stop in for lunch or dinner or as a matter of fact for any reason. The quality, the service and the decor have not changed - you can't improve on perfection. If you're heading north or south on I-91, it's an easy off... More

Nick's Nest is an institution and a National Treasure. They have managed to stay true to their roots even when the restaurant was bought and changed hands. My family has been eating their hot dogs and baked beans for more than fifty years. Whenever I return to visit, one of my first stops is Nick's Nest. Don't ask why they... More

We lived in the neighborhood behind this place and ate here a couple of times. I've never been wowed by their hot dogs OR their chili and I'm not sure why it's so loved.

I can remember 35 years ago when my dad took me here on multiple occasions ...always after visiting creepy and decrepit Mountain Park. Why did I want to go there? To see a little bank of monkeys play music. Well you just have to see it to believe it, and perhaps if you're lucky you'll see the monkeys. As for... More

They used to let the dogs sit in butter for a good long while... Sounds gross but tasted amazing. And the would steam the buns. I might be wrong but I don't think they are doing this now. The dogs are good but not the same level of good they used to be. Try the chilli fries.
