Great spot for casual lunch or dinner! Excellent pizza! Wonderful service..very accommodating! Cozy atmosphere. Great menu

Good burgers

Stopped in after a round of golf. The burgers we had were great, as was the chicken. The side salad was large. The place is clean and has plenty of parking.

great comfort food and beer choices

So many options for comfort-all great and served with a smiled. Staff is quick, friendly and efficient. Many beer and drink choices as well-worth the trip.

Wonderful food!

Love the food here! Wish they would bring back the specialty fries and the seafood trio! A great casual place with great service. The burgers are the best in the area and the haddock is perfectly cooked.

Great Steak Tips!

I recently went to The Grill Next Door with my wife for lunch. I ordered the steak tips and my wife ordered a cheese burger. The steak tips were seasoned and cooked perfectly.

Quick lunch Wednesday Nov 13th

Wow, I stopped at this restaurant for the first time. Had heard a lot about it but never got there. I sat at the bar for a quick lunch. Brittany was the bartender. Friendl, personable, accomodating. A definite asset to your restaurant. I had the reuben and it was delicious. Can't wait to come back. Even the clientele at the bar were friendly and talkative.

Warm and welcoming environment. First time eating at the restaurant...have only done takeout prior. Nic our server was great!! He made great suggestions to the menu. Firecracker shrimp appetizer were so yummy! Would definitely ask for him next time we dine there.

Neighborhood eats that satisfy

It is the local pub and grill dishing up quality grub and stellar drinks. We love the nachos, sharing sized smothered fries, rubens, burgers...almost never a disappointing meal. And the staff always offer a warm welcome.

Great food, beer & family friendly!

My family and I have been to the grill next door many times. They always have great fresh food and great beer on draft. One of my personal favorites is the Brewhouse Burger topped with our pale ale beer cheese, onion ring and bacon served on a pretzel bun. The beer cheese makes this burger! I would suggest to get extra beer cheese on the side because it’s so good your goin to want to dip your fries in it! Enjoy!!

Best place in Haverhill

Great food, excellent beer selection and friendly staff. I've never had any meal that wasn't excellent and always have a great beer selection to choose from. Definitely try the Thanksgiving balls as a starter... All time favorite app and everyone I bring here loves them. Parking is limited but there are a few spots behind the restaurant that can be easily overlooked. Looking forward to my next visit.

Local bar and grill with great service

We came in on a late Saturday evening from Portland Maine and pulled off 495 South and within less than a mile pulled in. Place was packed. We found 2 seats at the bar. Bar tenders were personable friendly and attentive. Ordered beer and wine, I had the salmon over a salad and my husband steak and cheese with onion rings. Service was quick, food was hot and good, we'll be back. Glad we found this right off the highway now we now from here on in where to stop to eat heading home. Friend of mine told me that they always ate here on the way home as her inlaws lived nearby, so double kudo's.

Nice lunch stop

Driving along I-495 and it’s lunchtime. There aren’t many places we know in this stretch of highway. We exit at Haverhill and find ourselves at the Grill Next Door — a happy surprise. The hamburger was rated excellent by one member of our party, the Thanksgiving appetizer was rated very good by another, and my Greek saad was good of not inspired. Service was very good. I wish we’d been here later in the day, because the spirits list looked good.

My daughters birthday and couldn’t decide were to go, called the grill at the last minute and they were able to accommodate 8 of us, we arrived shortly after 630p and table was ready, the waitress was awesome, really nice and patient, we had 3 children with us, everyone enjoyed their food, we had the meatloaf, salmon, the pork burger, chicken and 3 kids meals, we also had cocktails which where good, they were nice enough to bring out one of the desserts with a candle in it. Prices very good, plenty of good, I wasn’t crazy about the cannoli , but I think I am spoiled by the north ends, otherwise everything else was delish
