Restaurant: Lack of competition shows, as they never push the menu to new heights. Been going here for a long time (again, only place in town for a nice night out) and it is always the same old super safe menu. I guess they have no reason to change it, as it is always packed in there. I am constantly... More

Our first visit here and we loved everything. A beautiful setting, although it can get loud when crowded. Great cocktails and a nice wine list. We both had steaks, which were cooked perfectly. The sides were all excellent as well. Service by Eileen was friendly and perfect. A great location for special occasions or events. Can't wait to return.

This is the kind of restaurant that everyone talks about for their big events. I was excited to hear we would be going as a group for a big event. The restaurant was quaint, servers were super polite and friendly. (with the exception of one, who I will mention later) This is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant. A couple of... More

Rehearsal Dinner We were here for a wedding rehearsal dinner for a group of about 45 including several very young children. We were seated upstairs in a nice space with a fireplace, the mezzanine. There was a menu of pre-determined entrees, salads, and desserts. One-bites were served very beautifully in the “Silo”, which is off to one side with a... More

My husband and I went here for the first time, for my birthday. We made a reservation about 3 weeks in advance and got our first choice date and time since it was a Friday night. We got there early to get drinks at the bar first. The bar was packed but that didn't stop the bartenders from being attentive... More

This restaurant is modern but yet rustic. Nice large fireplace inside an old barn. The food is amazing, top notch. This is a lovely place for a nice dinner out, celebrate a special occasion, or just out for drinks and apps. You definitely need a reservation, unless you want to wait over an hour (on some days) for a table.... More

I have dined at Gibbet Hill Grill on a number of occasions. The last two visits were for special dinners, anniversary, family dinner, and I have to say my earlier visits would garner a much better review than my last two visits. The food and service was fair, nothing to brag about...pricey too...worth a try, maybe you will get lucky.... More

There's nothing bad to say about this place. i had the 6 oz filet and it was fantastic. My only issue was the braised greens (or something) that was far too overcooked or mushy. My colleagues mentioned this was a standard dish in the northeast, something I wasn't used to being from California. Everything else was outstanding and the wine... More

We go out for a good dinner at least 4-5 times a month. We have always wanted to try Gibbet Hill Grill as so many people rave about the restaurant. We went for my birthday dinner Oct 8 and had an excellent meal. I only wish we could have ordered dessert as they looked incredible but we had birthday cake... More

I felt this restaurant was just so so! The food was bland and poorly seasoned! I got a bone in aged sirloin that was rubbery, tough and flavorless!! Even salt and pepper would have helped had they used them! Mac and cheese was blah, mashed potatoes were soupy and tasteless! The servers were pleasant and helpful, there were nine of... More
