Fun, lively New England atmosphere... Our dining experience was excellent along with the service. Wait staff was very attentive and timely with our feast... An additional bonus is the quaint town and rolling hills the Grill is nestled in...Worth the trip.

We have been going to Gibbet Hill since they opened (over 10 yrs). We average going at least 3 times a month. The service is always friendly and the food very good. The menu has turns over a few times a year. Since we frequent it so often, it would be nice if the it turned more often. If you... More

Is a large barn we had a reservation at 5 pm and was already overflowing. Very noisy and a bit factory like. Mostly is a steak place with a rather boring menu that seems old fashioned. Service is efficient and well trained. Feels like a machine. Server was keen to keep us moving along. When we left there were even... More

Restaurant: Lack of competition shows, as they never push the menu to new heights. Been going here for a long time (again, only place in town for a nice night out) and it is always the same old super safe menu. I guess they have no reason to change it, as it is always packed in there. I am constantly... More

Our first visit here and we loved everything. A beautiful setting, although it can get loud when crowded. Great cocktails and a nice wine list. We both had steaks, which were cooked perfectly. The sides were all excellent as well. Service by Eileen was friendly and perfect. A great location for special occasions or events. Can't wait to return.

This is the kind of restaurant that everyone talks about for their big events. I was excited to hear we would be going as a group for a big event. The restaurant was quaint, servers were super polite and friendly. (with the exception of one, who I will mention later) This is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant. A couple of... More

Rehearsal Dinner We were here for a wedding rehearsal dinner for a group of about 45 including several very young children. We were seated upstairs in a nice space with a fireplace, the mezzanine. There was a menu of pre-determined entrees, salads, and desserts. One-bites were served very beautifully in the “Silo”, which is off to one side with a... More

My husband and I went here for the first time, for my birthday. We made a reservation about 3 weeks in advance and got our first choice date and time since it was a Friday night. We got there early to get drinks at the bar first. The bar was packed but that didn't stop the bartenders from being attentive... More

This restaurant is modern but yet rustic. Nice large fireplace inside an old barn. The food is amazing, top notch. This is a lovely place for a nice dinner out, celebrate a special occasion, or just out for drinks and apps. You definitely need a reservation, unless you want to wait over an hour (on some days) for a table.... More
