Always a solid meal

Make the trip to Greenfield for a meal here. The service is too notch and the food, cocktails, wine and beer are always excellent. If I have one complaint it is that the desserts are pretty standard. I would like to see a bit more creativity there.

Terrific place for date night. Comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Great lighting and candles on the table. Very interesting drink menu with some really innovative options. Nice, nice, nice to see the local brews being showcased here. I picked an amazing beer from Honest Weight brewery in Orange, MA. It was so good I had two with my dinner. Their menu,... More

I've only been to this restaurant two or three times (counting this one) when I've visiting my sister who lives in Mass. I know I always enjoyed it and had no problem selecting something from the menu. I think the menu has changed a fair amount since our last visit because I had a difficult time finding something that appealed... More

I just returned from dinner at Hope and Olive in Greenfield, Mass and the delicious flavor of the roasted, crispy brussel sprouts is still on my mind. Crisp, salty, well cooked, a huge mound of these appetizing appetizers is a real delight. If you don't like brussel sprouts have a friend order these and go for a tiny taste. I'll... More

We were stopping in Greenfield to visit AAA and it was lunch time, so we picked this spot. It was AWESOME. We loved the decor, service was great and we both had great salads for lunch. My husband had a Caesar salad topped with blackened salmon while I had an unusual kale and warm rice salad with spicy peanut dressing.... More

The food was incredibly fresh and tasty with creative cocktails and appetizers as well. We had to wait to get in but it was very much worth the wait. I can't wait to go back!

The food has always been great, the cocktails are always perfect. It's nice that they use so many local products, but the vibe tends to come off as snobby. It's a nice "once in a while" place, not our go-to.

The Hope and Olive is consistently friendly, food is good, beer selection fine. Go on Monday nights and the food - soup from area restaurants - is free. You leave tips to support the poor in the local community. Come early, because they close early on Mondays.

I had been to Hope & Olive several years ago, I remember it being a fun place with an eclectic menu. My visit this time was disappointing. The food was not very good. I had the brussels sprouts for an appetizer, they were tasty, but very oily, dripping in fried oil. We also had the bread board, the brie with... More

Lots to choose from on the menu! Was a little worried at first because of the wide variety of items (i.e. Cheesecake Factory overload), however, everyone at my table really enjoyed their entrees. I ordered the Nori-crusted Salmon and it was cooked perfectly -- it was very creative and was accompanied by a couple of side items. I also really... More
