Pete's has the reputation for fresh seafood served quickly. Whether it is take-out or stay and eat, the food is great. The menu offers lots of choices and there are specials depending on the day. The scallops are especially good. The seating is very casual and the inside is two-tiered and a tad cavernous. Consistent quality and great prices.

Was looking for a place for lunch while in Greenfield and stumbled across Petes while parking my car in the public lot. What a great find! When I'm in Massachusetts I can never get enough seafood so this was a welcome surprise. The special of the day was fried oysters which is my favorite. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.... Wow, stopped for a seafood lunch, I had the Real clam boat my wife had the oysters. Great taste, fried just right, and a fine amount of fries. Had a side of onion rings, real nice cut and battered, melted in your mouth. Good beer selection or soft drinks to go with your meal. Continues to be a great place.

This great local lunch spot is just off Main and Federal streets, near the heart of Downtown Greenfield. Order your food at the counter, have a seat at a picnic table, and pick up your food when it's ready! The food is as good as it is at any Oceanside food shop! Delicious!! All that is missing is the ocean... More

Had two modest dinners of scallops (boat and roll) along with fries and a crab cake. I noticed right away that based on appearance the frying oil badly needed to be changed. Everything was also soaked in oil. I have eaten here over the past 15 years and this was a terrible experience. I am contributing this review at 4:45... More

They have great fresh seafood, all the normal stuff, I like to go on the all you can eat nights for fish or clam strips, both are great! Great laid back little place to take a whole family!

This is the best place in town for seafood. They do mostly fried seafood. They have a deal on Tuesday and Saturdays all you can eat fried clams or haddock. Comes with fries. They have all kinds of seafood.

I'd like this place better if they used a better oil and drained the oil better from their fried food. I'm a northerner, not a southerner, so I don't like oil-drenched fried food. I do like the occasional fried food, but not so drenched in oil it makes me queasy. If they'd just drain it better, I'd eat there more... More

Pete's does not sell raw fish, it is not a fish market. We opted to try dinner and were seriously disapointed. Ordered the fried oyster dinner for 17.50. They tasted like whole belly clams and were dripping in grease.

A fish market with a very casual dining room on the side, plastic silverware. The seafood was nice and fresh and well cooked, large portions. I would have given them 5 stars if the french fries had been fresh, not tasteless frozen things.
