I have been going to Route 7 Grill for the past four years and have been meaning to write a review after every visit, but always get sidetracked. This time I am making it a point because every year the place is as good as...More

My husband and I wandered in here after a day of hiking, and then checking tripadvisor ratings of local restaurants on our blackberries. This is a zagat rated farm-to-table restaurant offering delicious, tasty food with a very good wine, beer and cider menu to match....More

Went to the Route 7 Grill on a Sunday evening in late July. It was a fine experience. We had the beef ribs and pork ribs; and both were tender and juicy. The side dishes were very good, too. The Grill was half-filled with customers...More

The menu would lead one to believe that this is a place that knows how to cook BBQ.......Not so. They claim that they only smoke their pulled pork and not boil it. I found it to be flavorless and anything but smoked. My wife however,...More

My husband are here for a long weekend from Vermont and, as always happens when we venture out of the Green Mountain State, we have been dissappointed by the lack of local ingredients used in restaurants. So, we were suspicious when we learned about a...More

We loved this place. Excellent food. The absolute best service. The atmosphere was very relaxed...very comfortable. We thought they were a little on the high side as far as price but we would definitely revisit the next time we are in the area.

Always festive, R7G has the best margaritas, malbecs, and barbecue. A place for locavores, R7G even makes vegetarians sated--the cuke tomato salads, beets, squash, mustard greens and sweet potato fries are fantastic. In the warmer months, eating on the deck is bucolic and tranquilo. The...More

Description
We at Route 7 Grill are proud to be providing fresh, local food to our Berkshire neighbors and friends. All of our meats are naturally raised from local farms or small family farms. We hope that our close relationship with these farmers have some positive effect in preserving local farming traditions. Everything we serve, including stocks, soups, dressings & desserts are made here from scratch. Our philosophy is inspired by Berkshire Grown, as well as the farm-to-table movement. The restaurant, nestled in the Housatonic river valley of the Southern Berkshires offers a full service dining room and full bar. We're located on historic Route 7 south of Great Barrington in the shadow of June Mountain We also offer a second dining room concept - including Raw Bar, Charcuterie & Tasting menus.
