We visited Passports after going on a whale watch tour that afternoon in Gloucester. The delicious food, ambience, and service were excellent. You can tell they take great pride in their establishment. Fresh food and warm, inviting setting. One of our favorite meals while on vacation. Loved it!

Last night, while in Gloucester, I asked a local where would they recommend and they advised on Passports. We hurried off there and secured a table quickly,it was a busy place with a lovely vibe and clearly frequented by a mix of tourists and locals. The menu was varied & most folk in the restaurant seemed to chose something different.... More

Passports is my favorite place for an excellent meal with my girlfriends. The menu is always changing with the seasons so there are plenty of choices. You get a hot popover from the friendly wait staff...and then when your food arrives, yummy!!!

Ate at Passports twice while in the area for a week. It was recommended to me by a local. The menu has a lot of diverse options seafood, steak, duck, thai, etc. I had the mango salmon with roasted squash and other tasty veggies. It was a large portion of salmon and everything was delicious. My friend had the haddock... More

The owner of the apartment we rented recommended this place. It's on a nice street right downtown. Very convenient. There were several ladies lunching there. The server/owner was very helpful and friendly. We ordered tuna and avocado with chips, lobster roll and a salad. Everything was great. Nice lunch. Highly recommend.

We came in without reservation at the passport and luckily had a table right away. The food we ordered was good. The bread was amazing! The staff was efficient, but I would not qualify of super friendly. Anyhow, it was a good experience.

We had four for an early dinner. Fried oyster app was terrific as were the mussels in a seafood broth that let you taste the sweet mussels instead of overpowering them with marinara. All the entrees were excellent; fish and chips. scallops and steak au poivre. Service was perfect. A real winner!

We made a last minute reservation for dinner on this restaurant. We were meeting family. The menu was great and the food superb. Also, we were able to chat without hinderance. The restaurant was great and allowed 2 family members that did not make it in time for dinner to join us for a chat.

We were in Gloucester only for a whale watching trip. This was recommended by a frequent visit to town. Since it is one street off main street we probably would not have found it and it was not one of the top restaurants on TripAdvisor. Our food and service was excellent. I had a seafood medley bake (can't remember the... More

We had come here with a friend who lives in Gloucester six months ago. I remembered it fondly, and it was good as, or better than, I remembered. Not long after being seated, you're treated to a warm popover with butter, and it just keeps getting better. The menu is very varied and reflects all the local seafood available. I... More
