This place offers a great variety on the menu, but is definitely geared toward seafood. The potions are very, very generous and the price is reasonable for the size and quality of the offerings. I have paid a lot more for much less quality/quantity of food. I enjoyed a blackened sword fish dinner which came with a choice of two... More

From the outside it looks hokey. But it's a great location with local ambience. The fish and chips are great. Also the sampler. Portions are large and the menu has variety. Always happy after lobstaland.

Been here 4 times in 3 weeks...Each time the food and service was PERFECT. No, there is no outside seating, has a small view of the water but well worth the excellent food. Each time my husband had the fish and chips with an up order of onion rings. Just the best ever rings and fish, not greasy EVER, hot... More

My parents live nearby and we've been going to this place for years and years. The good is always good. And it's one of those places with a giant menu, which makes me skeptical, but the food is really good. And there's a lovely view of the marshes. It does get crowded, so if you want a view, make a... My husband and I ate in the bar section of this Gloucester restaurant last night. Our server was friendly and very efficient. Both of our entrees were delicious. My husband had the grilled haddock, baked potato, salad and I had the grilled swordfish, mashed potatoes and Cesar salad. The prices were very comparable to other Cape Ann restaurants....around twenty six... More

In late May this year, My husband and I were on vacation, basically passing through the area. We asked at our hotel where we could go for good Bloody Mary's and lobster. This restaurant came recommended. Have to say that everything was excellent! The service and the food were awesome! Only wished that we lived nearby so that we could... More

The food was very good, the portions very large. I ordered the beer battered haddock, my husband the lobster roll, both were delicious! Cole Slaw was wonderful too.

We had lobster rolls and haddock chowder. tons of lobster, very lightly (almost not) dressed, in good brioche rolls. The chowder was very good too. Judging by the crowds, this is not a secret in the area, but we had never found it before. We'll certainly be going back.

You don't go to a place noted for having good seafood lunches and dinners and expect to find a decent breakfast. That's what happened to my wife and I the other morning. The restaurant is clean with a nice view in the rear of the place. The Service was friendly and fast. The menu had a large variety of reasonably... More

I must say this is one big bowl of very best seafood stew I've ever had in my life. The seafood was extremely fresh. The stew was warm and hearty. The clams and mussels were cooked perfectly. I couldn't believe I was able to finish up such a big bowl of seafood, but I did! (Even though, I had to... More
