I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. I feel like I am visiting with friends every time. The service and food are so worth the little side trip and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting it almost gives you a hug when you walk in.

for my son's 16th birthday, we were supposed to go into boston but at the last minute, he wanted to go somewhere in town. after exhausting the usual suspects, franklin cafe, beauport hotel 1606, and tonno, where we couldn't get a reservation so last minute, i thought of the sea glass. from my initial phone call, where the woman i... We showed up at 6:30pm on a Sunday, and apparently that's a slow time - only one other couple was dining when we arrived. They were a little understaffed, it seemed, because things came out a little slow, but every single dish we ordered was phenomenal. We got the chicken wings, Asian style, which were hands down the most succulent... More

Overall small portions but excellent service. The price depends upon what you want for your dollar. If you want great service and tiny portions then the price does not matter. The setting depends upon the mood of the owners. Inside dining or outside on the patio/deck. Fresh linens and choice on the menu are a plus.

This had been one of our favorite places we were sure to visit at least once every Summer. What a disappointment this year. Obviously, the Chef (Jason) has left (I knew immediately and asked the waitress). We went for our favorites (Duck and a fabulous seafood trio app) - gone from the menu. The menu has completed changed and is... More

Prices were not as high as I thought they would be for a small(ish) place. Warm and inviting area for a romantic dinner. We both had steak tips (which were only 15$, not bad for Gloucester.) They were cooked perfectly!

Had a great meal that I would not have been able to afford except it was Dine Out Cape Ann week. Good service too.

Excellent service, friendly owners and a fantastic menu from the new chef! The salmon with broccoli rabe, mashed spuds and fried egg on top was perfectly cooked. Delicious, CRISPY calamari appetizer, and the prosciutto with crispy brussel sprout leaves and fruit was divine. Husband loved his seared scallops with candied bacon. Will definitely return here as we live on Cape... More

In the summertime, sit at the bar on the deck and enjoy the views and chatting with whoever is there. In cooler weather, sit at the cozy bar or in front of two fire places. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

Wow! What a great find! Heard about the change in Executice Chef's, a Hell's Kitchen finalist, and took a nice drive to Gloucester. Well worth the ride! food was amazing! From the salad, to the lobster bisque, to the salmon. Nothing ordinary about this meal.I wish I could have tasted a bit of everything. They have wine dinner coming up... More
