My wife and I had the most wonderful lunch at the Mile Marker yesterday. It was our first visit there. Sat outside and enjoyed the grand view of the boats in the Marina and those passing by. I opted for the Caesar Salad with Steak...and I will simply say that it was the best that I have ever had. Large delicious portions of steak cooked medium rare as I had requested. My wife chose a haddock sandwich and described it as delicious. Our waitress was feisty and fun. We look forward to our next lunch there and recommend it to one and all.More

We had a wonderful time with friends over a delicious meal at Mile Marker One. Our table was looking over the bay and all the variety of boats. There were also soothing breezes blowing through. Our waitress Sarah M. was part of the reason we...had a wonderful time, she was very friendly served us well and she cared. Thank you, we will be back.More

Bad service, terrible food, Expensive (considering!) & no acknowledgment of terrible performance by waitress or mgmt. Reservation for three at 7:15pm. Arrived and no table. After 15min, were seated in the bar overlooking the water. Low cocktail table height, but very nice view, so we...ordered drinks & chose to stay at the table. The waitress was on-time and chipper, but clearly not too competent with the hand set order device. Drinks were good. Food arrived on time: HORSERADISH-CRUSTED HADDOCK - waitress promoted this as the most popular plate going. Barely edible. Bed of mashed potatoes in center of plate surrounded by a deep moat of balsamic vinegar with the haddock placed in the center of the potatoes and yes, encrusted with a heavy topping of broiled horseradish. Topped with a bush of broiled vegetable "string" not a good combination. Poor taste overall. No vegetable or starch or salad with the plate. Barely edible. Ate, but not happy. 14OZ GRASS-FED RIBEYE - very small odd shaped pieces - Arrived pretty much burnt, chewy and bad tasing. Worst looking piece of steak I've seen at these prices, ridiculous. Left uneaten. SPECIAL - HALIBUT - OK taste, but the serving was very small (silver dollar size), so unsatisfying. Ordered a refill on a red wine during the meal. 1/2 hr later, after the dinner was well over, it arrived and placed on the table. When we said it was too late, we were told the bar was busy. No apology and the waitress left. NEVER RETURN.More

We stayed at this place. I don't recommend you book a stay. Breakfast good, but expensive, given we stayed at the hotel.

The bus boys and the food runner with the great hair made my experience excellent. They gave me a nice show to watch while I downed 2 dozen oysters.

We enjoyed a great dinner with a “front seat” view of the marina. Our meals were delicious - horseradish encrusted haddock and fried clams! Italian seafood stew and Caesar salad were good choices for appetizers. Portions are very large. They left no room for dessert....Our waitress, Nina, was personable and professional. I like seafood, but when I saw the lamb shanks and lamb chops (3/serving) delivered to the next table, I was jealous! They looked awesome! There is outdoor seating as well as dining room seating.More

Everything about this place was "off". We arrived and couldn't find the hostess to check-in for reservations. We finally asked the man at the front desk of the hotel and he said you check in here. Meanwhile, he had watched us wander around their strange...lobby - an old pool with a boat in it. It was too cold to eat outside so we may have missed the main attraction of this place. The food was average - if you are looking for a burger and a beer this may be perfect but we thought it would be a nice dinning experience.More

The fresh haddock platter was perfectly prepared with a more than generous portion. The ambiance of sitting outside, under an umbrella with a first class marina view just made the dining experience complete! Very enjoyable dining experience, and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.

My wife and I ate dinner here last night and breakfast here this morning. I was reluctant to go here after reading several of the reviews. I am so glad that my wife insisted. Both of our meals were exceptional last night and this morning....Our waitresses were also excellent. Last night, my wife ordered the twin filet mignonette special. She loved it. She is still raving about the poblano cheese sauce and the key lime pie. I ordered the fried haddock and it was huge, fresh, and perfectly cooked. I loved the clam chowder. It was truly a treat and one of the best that I have ever had. This morning my wife was raving about the Epic French Toast that she ordered. I thoroughly enjoyed my Lobster Eggs Benedict. The home fries were super. We will definitely be back again.More

We live in this area but had never visited this restaurant. We went for lunch on a Friday, and were seated right next to the water with a beautiful view of the river and the boats. The menu was interesting, offering much more than the...usual fish and chips and burgers. I ordered the seafood soup for an appetizer and the seacuterie platter which had octopus salami, several sliced fish, olives stuffed with fish etc. - you get the picture! The waitress asked whether I liked all types of seafood - I do! The menu was marked to show which items contain gluten - helpful. Most restaurants lately have been noticeably short of wait-staff - not the case here. My wife had a large green salad with steak tips - large and very good. We will be back!More

I had a lobster roll which was stuffed with claws and knuckles. but the roll was nothing special. My wife had...the salad with shrimp which was very tasty. Service was very good. We will be back.More
