We had lunch today and had a great seat overlooking the harbor. We had the clam dip which was super yummy, salad with lobster and lobster roll. Everything was super fresh. And the Tommy’s margaritas were perfect.

Friends have been talking about this restaurant for years and tonight I finally ate there. The set-up is good for social distancing and outdoor dining in a rustic setting. Service was good and when we asked to change our table to one in a less...breezy spot, they nicely complied. That said, I'm afraid the food was very "ho-hum". I had steak tips brushed with a rather sweet barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. There was nothing distinctive about any of it. My three friends all had the fried shrimp. They were medium size and not very plentiful. The meal looked more like one you'd get at a road side stand. We split a small brownie with a small scoop of ice cream ,gobs of whipped cream and a lot of chocolate sauce. I'm sure I'll be back sometime but after the Covid restrictions lift and they're back to a full menu. For now, Mike Market is off my list.More

The food there is good but you are taking your chances with your health. The incident happened on the Friday before Labor Day (9/4/20). My wife and I were having dinner with friends of ours at your restaurant. We were sitting across from the back...bar were the staff get the drinks. I noticed that the bartender was preparing drinks with his mask down to his chin. This upset me and I got up and talked to a manager. The lady first argued that the bar tender was 6 feet away from anyone but I did mention that he was preparing drink so she agreed and told him to wear his mask and he complied. However, the issue is when we left. My wife and her friend were slowly to leave the table and they made eye contact with the bar tender who took down his mask with a big grin, giving the ultimate F.U. I find this attitude unacceptable and irresponsible. If the restaurant culture does not think that safety is a worthy issue to focus on as demonstrated by the bartender, I wonder what is happening in the kitchen. It was clear that the pandemic is not taken seriously by the staff.More

To get the view outside get a high top along the railing. Reservations a must. With Covid restrictions limited tables. We had clam chowder, mussels, the horseradish crusted haddock and the scallops. Everything was delicious and we took home leftovers for lunch the next day....Great staff and service.More

It was a very nice evening. We sat at a high top along the dockside. It was great spot to see the boats going up and down the river. My lobster roll was delicious, service was great. Definitely a great place to go.

Had dinner there last Sunday. Service was professional, friendly, and prompt. The food was delicious. We had the Seafood Stew, which overflowed the mug with savory flavors; the Seared Diver Scallops and a Gloucester Platter, a combination of Fried Haddock, Scallops, and Shrimp. The scallops...in both dishes were by far our favorite taste of the day! In the fried dish, there was more seafood than french fries, which is unbelievable for a New England "fisherman's platter"... Thank you for the fishy goodness... all of it very yummy!More

This place is a must the next time you visit the Gloucester, MA area. Covid 19 conscientious, friendly waitstaff, eclectic menu that we both savored. HIGHLY recommend.

Limited seating due to Covid but we had made a reservation so we were seated immediately. Located at a marina, I thought “good atmosphere”. We were very surprised at the excellent service and delicious meal. The food was superb! Casual dining and great food.

There were four of us ladies yesterday. We were seated outside on the same floor that the bar is on. There's not a clear view of the water there unless you sit in high top chairs. Otherwise the seating was nice. They were doing a...good job with the safety measures required. The food was good. I had the fried shrimp plate. Others had the haddock fish sandwich and the fish tacos. The fish was fresh and nicely prepared. The staff was pleasant and professional.More

We had a bad experience dining here for lunch. My friend ordered the fish tacos. The fish was a strange grey color. They laid the whole fish out on a tortilla. It tasted bad and smelled terrible. I ordered the lobster over a salad. The...lobster was not fresh, tasted mushy, and several pieces had little brown spots. I would not recommend this restaurant.More
