When I was a child in the 1960s and '70s, I enjoyed vacationing with my parents in Gloucester. One of our favorite places was the Captain Courageous at 25 Rogers Street on the waterfront. It was good, straight-ahead seafood with friendly service and one of the best harbor views in town. Fast forward to present day and that choice parcel... More

We ate twice at Lat 43 while in Gloucester. Both times to seafood was great, very fresh, and well prepared and presented. A definite 'must stop' while in Gloucester.

I have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal! Right on the wharf, great scenery! Great interior design; twin lobster rolls, great fries, all and all a great food value!

Love this amazing restaurant on the water. The view of the boats combined with the great food and even better service made dining here an amazing experience. Did I mention dog friendly? Well 5 dogs to be exact. They say us off to the side in the very back of the dock so not to bother the non dog friendly... More

We went for a Late lunch. They were very accommodating. We wanted to sit outside and find a table in the shade. It worked out fine. We both had a drink and ordered to share baked stuffed clams. There were two very filled clams which, though they were different from what we expected, were tasty. We also ordered lobster roll,... More

Took a train from Boston as had seen all the sights, a local person had recommended Gloucester as had intended to go to Rockport. Gloucester has some great little arts and crafts shops as well as some historic buildings. However, the day was hot and the patio calling and wasnt disappointed with Latitude. They seem to have areas catering for... More

Enjoyed late day snacks and drinks on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The lobster roll entrée was huge (2 lobster rolls), so split with friend. Chowder was very good, a travel companion said. Only issue was wait staff, but it was getting to the end of her shift and she was ready for some days off. Really, do you need to... More

Whenever we have something to celebrate, weddings, birthdays, we head out to Latitude. It is spacious yet intimate, has a wonderful deck with much to look at over the water, great sushi and also many other dishes. Good wine and sake selection and yummy desserts. If you get the serenity rewards cards (good at many restaurants in the area) like... More

I have eaten here many times but not for a couple of years ( my last experience was not good). They are back to the restaurant I loved. I sat outside. There was a lot of activity in the harbor. The food was very good. The waitress and rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. The food that arrived... More

Enjoyed the food and outdoor seating. The service was great, no complains. Baked huddock and gazpacho were very good!
