We enjoyed the authentic Sichuan food in all Sichuan Goumet locations for years - but can't anymore. The recent visit to Framingham location was surprisingly bad - the "ma-la" taste is gone, only left with the taste of chilly power. Has the chef left? Or they run out the prickly ash (Sichuan numbing pepper)? Very disappointed.

The food quality is great every time and service is fairly quick too. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Went mid afternoon on a weekday. Excellent Sichuan and Kung Pao chicken. Very spicy and cooked just right. Waitress was difficult to understand and she was also very authoritative. Didn't feel comfortable asking her to repeat her answers repeatedly so we gave up trying to understand. Tea was schorching hot - burned my fingers trying to pick up the cup.... More

I ate here 2x in the same week with friends who were visiting. From out of town. Once for dinner and once for lunch. For dinner we had scallion pancakes, spicy cucumber with garlic (yum!!), wudon seafood noodles, and scallops in Cheng du sauce (lots of scallops with broccoli and bell peppers) the scallop sauce could have been more flavorful-... Chinese is Chinese until you come here. There are a lot of good places in Framingham, but this one offers options you can't find elsewhere. The amount of whole fish is outstanding, the scallops, the cold appetizer of cucumber in spicy sauce with garlic. I honestly haven't been here since it was a Thai place decades ago, but I am... We used to go to the Sichuan Gourmet in Billerica which is closer to our house and would make a spicy salt and pepper chicken that my daughter loved but the women at the front (not the servers) were always just so rude and put out and the restaurant so cold and cramped that we went elsewhere. Someone told us... More

I have been spoiled. Most of the customers seem to speak Chinese to the wait staff. Authentic Sichuan; at least in my opinion. Effecient and pleasant staff. Great food at reasonable prices

We have been taking out food from here over 10 years. Authentic Sichuan style food. If you like very spicy Chinese dish, go there.

Having tried the chicken dishes, I can definitely vouch for them. Shredded chicken is one of my favorites. Quick service and cheap options are a plus point, especially when you need a to-go. Note: They charge a flat 18% tip after 9pm, which is not at all admissible, given the fact that their staff are buggy and will keep annoying... More

This is our go to place for excellent Chinese food, we frequently drive 30 minutes from Worcester to eat here! Service is quick and the food is hot and delicious. Our favorites include the Dan Dan noodles, fresh bamboo shoots with spicy wonder sauce, kung bao chicken, yu xiang eggplant, and they also do a fantastic scallion pancake. Prices are... More
