We enjoyed our dinner: Gazpacho soup was ok, calamari was very good. For entrees: the Haddock Imperial, Crab Cake Combo, and lobster were all very nice. It is also nice that they offer wine flights (reasonably priced) to sample some varieties. There are different seating areas - so if you are there for a special occasion - you may want... More

Legal Sea Foods has such a fabulous reputation, but I wonder if it's not just because the prices are so high that it MUST be good. We hadn't been for years and years because we'd become disillusioned. Friends took us to the Framingham location a couple of weeks ago, and we were again disappointed. The place is lovely, our server... More

I was meeting 4 classmates from all over and this was a central spot. I am not a big fan of Legal as I think they are overpriced. The décor was so pretty, we were seated right away, the waitress was gracious enough to honor our separate checks request. We had so many laughs and no one bothered us. Three... More

We usually go on Sundays and eat at the bar. The bar staff is always very friendly and efficient. In the many times we have eaten here I only have had one dish I wasn't happy with. The fried clams, shrimp and oysters are crispy and good. The cauliflower appetizer is very tasty. the oysters are always freshly opened. Sautéed... More

You can always count on Legal for their consistency. Great fish and sides, efficient service, good wine selection. If you are there for lunch try the fish tacos!

The fish is fresh and the quality is consistent. The prices are somewhat high for what it is. If you are looking for innovative or original cuisine, this is not where you want to go. If you want a good piece of broiled fish for about $25-30 with no surprises, and a pleasant wait staff, this is your place.

Not cheap but worth the cost. The staff was friendly and efficient, though the food took quite awhile to come out. Worth the wait, though! We had the salmon which was delicious and perfectly cooked, along with baked stuffed lobster which was fantastic. Very pricy but worth it--the seafood stuffing was full of huge pieces of shrimp and scallop--though I... More

Love the sweet and petite fried clams. Always good quality. Always pleasant wait staff. We prefer booth in the back and almost always available.

Legal Sea Foods is a basic staple in the greater Boston area. The food is pretty much the same from one to another. So, if you have a choice, try the Legal in the Seaport District of the one on Route 9 or another one near you. It's basic seafood, good for picky eaters as well as for slightly adventurous... More

Visited this restaurant a number of times and it never disappoints. Menu is great with lots of choice. Quality of food and presentation is superb. Service is really outstanding. Not cheap but great value. Would recommend to others and I will return.
