The old-fashioned feel of this tavern. They have Pub and Tavern food with a Twist. had a chicken sandwich with mozzarella fresh basil and tomato. Waitress and bartender were very friendly. Would definitely recommend

Stopped for dinner on a Saturday night around 6 p.m. wasn't busy at all. My husband and I each had the breakfast burger and they were huge! I substituted my fries for the baked mac & cheese for an additional charge and it was delicious.

We have been here before, and enjoyed stopping here again. We both had sandwiches, with onion rings as an appetizer - so good! The owner even brought out a few more rings as we chowed down on what was brought to the table. I had a sausage pepper and onion sandwich (bangers!) with fries that was great. Even had dessert... Visited here a few weeks ago, enjoyed the bar and the food, a good stop along the way. I enjoyed the Bistro Burger very much, melted brie w/ crumbled prosciutto & bistro onions on our downing street burger. Wish I could remember the name of the red Irish on tap beer that I had, it was excellent.

This place is owned by an english gentleman but they serve various types of cuisine, not just english. There is a TV for viewing games. Food is delicious.

Late night dinner here mid week. We had the steak salad with blue cheese (a generous serving), their award-winning chowder and chili (delicious!) and some great beer! There was a local beer from Rapscallion as well as a few other craft brews.

Ordered the recommended macaroni & cheese and steak tips. The steak tips were very tiny but very good, so I ate those. I took one bite of the Mac & Cheese that came with it and almost choked. The taste was so bad it was like I bit into a something sprayed with Raid. Then I figured out it was... More

As another reviewer already said, a little bit of England in New England. Fish and Chips, cottage pie, bangers and mash, autumn bisque, great selection of beers and very friendly service. We were just visiting the area and wish we had time to go back again.

We enjoyed our visit to The Copper Stallion. Boyfriend got bangers and mash, I got the fish and chips. Food was good, although not as good as we were hoping. (We were hoping for great!) Our waitress was great, friendly and offered suggestions on where to visit in the region. Décor was nice, location was good, not far from our... More
