This is the place the local tradesmen go for an early breakfast, Cheap fast service. Lunch selections are excellent too. The worker guys usually order some to go after breakfast. Friendly service especially from the boss Mary Ellen Great Portuguese style breads baked fresh by he dad every morning.

It's a small place, but had a great breakfast. The breads were outrageous! We went on a Friday morning and we were seated immediately. Appears to be a destination on Sunday morning lol

We were pleasantly surprised and loved our brunch at Mary Ellen's! It's a small diner with delicious brunch options. The linguica and the Portuguese bread is delicious.

Good breakfast place and lunch place for locals and visitors alike. No frills decor reminiscent of old time cafes. Basic foods for breakfast or lunch are the way to go, including a pastry selection from the display case. My favorite lunch selection is the Caciola with rice and beans. A buttered fresh Portuguese roll accompanies this dish. Yummy! Your wallet... More

Jammed for Sunday breakfast but well worth any wait. Portuguese omelette is very good. The pastry is wonderful.

I was expecting so much more when we stopped in for breakfast. They have a breakfast special that is a good price, however there is another place just down the road that offers just the same and better ambience.

Customer service on the other hand is not. They are slow and not overly freindly. I have been a few times because the food is good, so as long as you dont mind unfreindly service give this place a try

Great little place to have either sit and eat or grab a sandwich on the way to the ferry. Food was delicious and the wait staff worked together like a fine oiled machine. I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

We've been vacationing in Falmouth for 16 years and didn't know about this place. It's tucked behind Dairy Queen. What a find, great service and delicious breakfast! It is small and only takes cash but it is so worth it.
