The Flying Bridge is amazing in the summer because of the view , but tonight we were reminded how amazing the food and service is! The Arugula salad was loaded with crisp apples, cranberries, pecans , and curled cucumber, endive and a light sweet vinaigrette...was delicious. The Bang Bang shrimp appetizer was fabulous. The steaks tips and truffles fries were perfect and the Native Baked Cod with spinach and mashed potatoes garnished with fresh flowers was delightful and beautifully presented . Angie our waitress was warm and attentive. The tables are very well spaced and Covid precautions very comforting. Nice oasis.More

From the looks of this place I was anticipating a great experience. Nice staff, but was not checked on during dinner, and i was in mood for dessert but was brought my bill after dinner and not offered anything, and my wife usually likes a...cup of coffee after dinner. The onion rings, which were enough to feed 6 people had way to much batter for such a thin onion slice. The baked scallops were good as well as the fried clams. Just disappointed in level of service for what appears to be a fine restaurant. Service keeps me from returning to places as there are so many options on where i spend my money.More

Tried to place a take-out order by phone. Person who answered the phone transferred me to the bar, but no one at the bar ever picked up. Hung up and called back a second time. Told the person who answered what had happened and was...told the bartender was busy and I should just wait until she picked up. So again I waited and waited and waited. Finally hung up again and drove there to place our take-out order. Had to wait inside while it was prepared, which I was hoping not to do. I had a lobster roll that was average at best. Lobster meat was good. But the roll was just a somewhat stale hotdog roll that wasn't toasted or buttered.More

We ate outside and it was delightful. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was excellent with some good choices. The food is prepared and presented well. The wine list is nice. We had a delicious lunch and, all in all, a delightful time.

Great view and excellent service. Everybody was complying with social distancing and everything was very clean considering CV 19. My wife and I were there a week ago this past Sunday after a long bicycle ride. It was a bit chilly so we stayed inside...the plastic enclosure which was nice and warm. Food was very good, I had the Haddock, perfectly done. My wife had the broiled seafood sampler. Portions were relatively small and prices were similar to New York City.More

The location is terrific as is the food. A couple things stand out: onion rings and their shrimp scampi! Big ‘yes’ to both! We loved eating on the deck and looking at the harbor. Mark was our waiter and he added positively to our lovely...dinner. We will be back!More

First time visiting this restaurant which was less than a 5 min drive from our motel. My husband and I both got the saffron seafood stew which was spectacular!! We also shared an order of calamari which was generous and cooked perfectly. Drinks were perfect...and we got to sit outside next to the harbor. Will definitely return!More

When I’m in New England, I have to get my fill. These clams were pretty terrific and I had to force myself to eat them all...happily. Great service and friendly staff.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner here at the flying bridge restaurant. The grilled swordfish was fresh and tasty and calamari was tender and fresh. The cape cod mud pie is a must for dessert. The service was excellent and courteous. We went...back again two nights later and were happy we did. Excellent location and harbor viewsMore

The location is nice and I'm sure a draw for many but I was not impressed. Young wait staff for the most part. No manager in site that I could see. First impression not favorable- hostess was a tad rude... She just seemed agitated and...it was a Monday night. 75 minute wait ( but our bad as we were not aware of the wait list and perhaps could have done that had we known). Nice perk at least, an area under a tent to have a drink while you wait. However no one busing tables in this area so folks coming in to wait had to sit at dirty tables or further back from the water. Food was just ok, nothing very hot except the Mahi Mahi. Vegetables were lukewarm at best. Same for my husband's meal. He had the special and the risotto was barely warm but he said the halibut was good. Trash and a menu by our table that no one bothered to pick up. So many other good choices in Falmouth and Woods Hole I would not rush back.More
