To be honest, I don't typically bother rating chain restaurants. I sort of feel like they're so unvarying and people already sort of know what to expect.
However, I felt the service, the staff were so extraordinary that I wanted to give them a shoutout. Our waiter was very friendly - not in an intrusive way, just in the way that you feel like your friend is waiting on you. He seemed interested in us as people, gave us some travel tips for the area, and seemed to genuinely care about our dining experience.
The manager came and checked in with us. Yes, they do that sometimes, but he was very friendly and I felt like he was very happy we were there.
The service all felt different.
My son had his usual barbecue chicken wrap without the barbecue sauce, ha. It was as good as he expected. I had the Monterey Jack Burger. It was sloppy in that tasty, wonderful way. I never had it before, but it was very good. My burger was cooked to order, medium rare. Everything came out quickly.
They had plenty of booths closed to encourage social distancing due to COVID. I saw the staff spraying things and cleaning things. Everyone was wearing masks . I felt like we were in good hands.
When I'm traveling, I try to go to places I can't normally get to, Mom & Pop places or at least chains we don't have in our hometown. My son begged to go here, and I'm glad we did. This was a very well-run store and the staff are exceptional. I hope the owners or managers know how lucky they are.

We went here a couple days ago and I got the Turkey bites and Maine Red mashed potatoes, My husband got the Baked scallops and all were so good! So good in fact, we went back tonight! I had the best Vermont cheddar burger I’ve ever had. My husband got the fried boneless chicken and corn and delicious biscuit and we both got the mashed potatoes again. I would go back again in a heartbeat! It was awesome. Waitresses were both super nice too. Highly recommend this restaurant!

A place that serve BBQ ribs and don’t have sweet potato fries on menu deserves maximum 3 stars no matter how good is the other parameters. Shame on you 99 head chef. Go get sweet potatos!!!

Today the chicken tenders were somehow overcooked and dry but room temp..
Same with potatoes skins. Everything seemed like it was cooked a while before it was served. It wasn't busy so you'd think they could have taken a little bit of care with our food.

99 is a solid regional chain restaurant. My wife and I ate here last night. The service was good, it was clean, reasonable, and the food was pretty good. There is nothing exceptional here but it is a decent choice in Falmouth these days.

Being from the midwest, 99 Restaurants was a new experience for us. We were very pleased with the food and the service...both here and in North Quincy. Wish they would expand to Illinois. Extra shoutout to bartender/server, Zach. Enjoyed talking to him and appreciated all his recommendations...both in terms of food and area.

Food good. Unfortunate we didnt have our cellphones on us. They could only find 1 menu for us to look at. Food was good for what you get. Waiter seemed to be new and not really interested in his job but the hostess was excellent.

Love the 9’s
The Falmouth location- only eat during day - food is the best then
Getting really tired of the absolute worst service at the bar- not all bartenders but tired of never getting silverware with meal unless I ask
Never get separate plates, area is never cleaned. Plates not taken away when done while there’s no one at the bar
Bartender just out to lunch, always has backed turned to the bar, on phone or talking to other employees while people come in
Poor management in my opinion

Ordered takeout while staying in Falmouth. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken, which was delicious and the order was correct- mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and a biscuit.
Hubby ordered the seasonal special Braised Short Ribs, which according to the menu comes with a salad. Hubby called the restaurant after we placed our order online because he was given a salad dressing option. He was told since he added an extra dressing he would need to come in to pick it up rather than use the curbside pickup option. Ok fine.
So we go get the food, had to go back in because they didn’t give us any eating utensils. Get back to the hotel, my chicken meal is perfect. His meal not so much; braised ribs- ✔️, corn ✔️, coleslaw ✖️, salad ✖️, 2 salad dressings ✔️.
They gave him the dressings but NO SALAD! Plus he was missing one of his sides!
We didn’t bother to call or go back- it was late, we were tired and hungry. At that point it wasn’t worth it.
The food was delicious, but it would have been so much better if hubby got his whole meal!

When on the cape - I have to get a lobster roll as often as possible. This one was very tasty with a decent amount of lobster. A plus for me - could swap out the cole slaw for a vegetable. My husband loved his large cheeseburger as well. While we were waiting for our food we were brought a basket of popcorn - nice touch !

We couldn’t get seated on Main Street so headed out here to 99 opposite Falmouth plaza and what a find! We had great food and really great service and we will definitely try to go back there. The menu is varied and there’s something for everyone and although the sweet menu is limited the apple pie was delicious. We would highly recommend this place. So much nicer than the busier joints on Main.

They have full meals for as little as $9.95 and they are good. The menu has a wide variety of choices which change seasonally. Baked scrod is a regular for my wife. Food is always fresh and service is good. They make their money on a good assortment of drinks. Not fancy, but you can't miss here.
