After 2 weeks travelling around New England and eating at a fair number of restaurants my wife and I fancied a straight-forward pub meal. This was great. Simple food well cooked and pleasantly served. Good beer (which came in proper 20oz pints}. Nice laid-back live music and great atmosphere. Good value. Beef and Guinness stew and bangers and mash both... More

Went to Liam Maguire's a couple of weeks ago with my 9 year old son and had a great time. The waiter, while a bit harried, was very nice and took good care of us. I asked his opinion between the warm and cold Lobster Roll and he suggested the cold one. It was fantastic! Lots of lobster and the... More

Great drinks, friendly staff, walking distance from the hotel I was staying at. I would recommend to anyone looking for a small nice place to grab a drink.

Stopped by while touring Falmouth. Great menu choices. Typical pub atmosphere. Service was prompt and the food was good. Very reasonably priced. Quite a popular spot in the area for lunch and dinner.

So glad we decided to eat here ! The beef stew was the BEST I've ever tasted !! My wife said the same thing about the shepherd's pie. Great atmosphere, too.

We come to Falmouth often to visit family. My wife and I walk to Liams for the music and a draught beer. It's great when Liam plays, often playing solo and sometimes playing with others. He also brings in talent from the area, which is often a mix of Irish and contemporary music. Watch their calendar online. The actually had... More

We were having a few beverages with a large group at a table just off the bar (tipping well). The waitress came over and told us quiet rudely that we'd have to move so she could seat people for dinner (the place was empty). We left as soon as we could due to her horrible attitiude.

Eat here twice on our short stay in Falmouth, not disappointed either time. Very busy early evening, Large portions and vey tasty. Beef stew, chicken curry, meat loaf, NY strip all excellent. Mine host Liam knocks out some lovely old Irish ballads as well, I dare you not to tap your feet or join in.
