This is the kind of place that ticks the boxes and you're glad it's there: Harbor view, plenty of outdoor seating, COVID awareness, adequate food, easy walk from our lodging (Inn on the Sound), friendly for families (we saw many kids, all well behaved). We enjoyed oysters, shrimp cocktail, and steamers, along with a check-expanding number of glasses of mediocre pino grigio. Nothing about it is unique, but we enjoyed our evening very much.

This place was across from where I stayed so I gave it a whirl despite mediocre reviews. I was alone and it was not busy at 2:30pm. Hostess had to get permission to seat me as they had a 2-6 person rule. They did however have a bar along the windows with 6’ spacing marked off. My server, Ashley was great. Even though she was the only bartender at this point, she was very attentive and checked in frequently, which worked for me because I was mainly eating apps and martinis. The ceviche of the day was with shrimp. I have had better, but they served it with chips and the small shrimp were good. The drink was great. Citrus sin. I always worry when it says simple syrup, but this was not overly sweet. It was a perfectly done fun martini with lemon, and a bit of cayenne. Next I had oysters, Wellsfleet, my favorite. They were good, and I like that they give extra horseradish without being asked. I did see several lobster rolls come out, and it looked like a good mix of tail and claw meat. I had the Stuffie. Seemed like more bread and crushed red pepper than anything, however, it can happen to get one like that. Otherwise, the top was crisp like I like it, and smooth inside. Take away? I would try other things here. And even though Co Ide has made it hard, if you can get Ashley, you won’t be disappointed.

This restaurant and bar is located at the beginning of Falmouth Harbor. They have outdoor dining with scenic views of the Harbor, and a reasonable selection of food and drinks. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was friendly, but we were disappointed in the food, specifically my wife's steak tips were too well done and my Ahi Tuna was dried out. We didn't send the food back or complain, but we probably won't eat there again.

Stopping for dinner on a Thursday night the bar was packed with avid hockey fans. Our food was good but I thought a bit pricey for what we got. The lobster roll I had was just OK, it was pricey, a roll with 1/2 pound of lobster meat and no sides. Other places I had them included fries and coleslaw for almost the same price. We also had calamari and a stuffed Quahog ( clam ) which was OK. It had a considerable amount of breading / filling but still tasted fairly good.

This place is a bit of a mixed bag. They tend to play the music too loud and service is spotty at best. The inside part of the restaurant is usually too cold and the outdoor dining in the direct sunlight can be unbearable. However, there is one BIG reason to go here. The giant lobster roll. It is one pound of grade A lobster meat. The meat is big chunks of claw and knuckle meat. The lobster salad is dressed lightly in mayonnaise and there are no fillers. The hot dog bun is buttered and toasted to perfection. The price is $55 which is less money than what most stores in the area charge for lobster meat. Even though the restaurant calls itself the "Raw Bar" it's clams and oysters are pre-shucked and leave much to be desired. There are way better choices in Falmouth for those items.

Pre season so no wait! Located on a harbor which I’m sure is super busy during the season. We had a few Cape Cod Blonde drafts which were pretty smooth and $7.50. We split a Fisherman’s platter which had awesome scallops as well as shrimp, clams, calamari and Haddock, $48. All were very tasty except the haddock which I’m not sure was fresh. The coleslaw was really good and portion size was perfect for 2. The place has a big bar and probably a fun night life.

We stopped in twice for the lobster roll. Once was eat in, once was take out. Wow, was it worth it! Unfortunately, Not all lobster tastes sweet and “close your eyes” awesome. Fortunately, I can definitely say it’s just this way for this lobster meat! Even if the portion wasn’t as large as it is, it’d still be my “go to” Place for a lobster roll.
The server was amazing, too. Pleasant, polite and really on top of everything. Go, go, go !!!!! Fast. You will be pleased that you did. And if there’s any issue... speak up. They are accommodating and genuinely apologetic.
We’ll be back again and again.

As I lie here with a horrible stomach ache all I can think of is the worst raw littlenecks I have ever eaten. I should have sent them back. It tasted like they were washed in dish water. I eat them everywhere I go in Falmouth and the island. I’ve never tasted ones that had no flavor, no brine salty water taste. The last one actually tasted bad. The drinks that were margaritas the bartender could not get salt on the rim for some reason and offered me a cup of table salt. It was literally pathetic. I will never eat there again in my life. Drink was ok and the kid playing guitar was fun. The raw seafood WTF man over.

OK we have stayed near it for years walked or driven by it many times so last night we decided to try it. Might be last time. It was for a light dinner Clam chowder 4-1/2 stars. Mussels 2-1/2 good size but cooked blandly. Calamari same as the mussels bland. For 2021 what is basically a bar serving food the beer selection 2 stars. Very nice views.

Whatever you do..do not get any shots. Staff was amazing..but we asked for 2 Kamikaze shots...that is bar vodka..not top shelf..and yes a Kamazake shot..cheap liquor. It was 24.00 for 2 shots in plastic little shot glasses. 24.00????? The Cape Cod Beer on tap was only 5.00 cold and delicious. So not to self...next time I need to ask..how much do you charge for a shot...this is not Vegas....

The waitress gets 5 stars!
But I can’t rate just her…
The peel and eat shrimp was doused in Old Bay seasoning. Way too much. Which means either the chef goofed (could’ve wiped the excess off), or it was added to cover something. Which is never a good thing.
Not sure I will return.

Second trip to Falmouth, the weekend before Memorial Day ...so, a nice, slow time with not too many people. We had dinner here last year but this year ended up here twice! We stopped in for lunch on the day we arrived, ate inside as it was cold and rainy, and had a great time. Good food, great bartender/service, and the manager/owner Mike was awesome. Everyone was so attentive and fun. So much so that we came back for dinner two nights later. Another great experience. Inside or outside seating, it's a great place. The atmosphere/decor inside is perfect for a raw bar. Outside, you get to be closer to the water, but even inside you have a great view. Recommend this place for drinks, food, service, and food.

Stopped at 1:00 pm on a Wednesday. Waitress was totally inept, and food was awful. Had fish tacos, lobster roll, sliders, burger. Waited for her to come and get payment, walked it in to find her just sitting along the wall inside. Do not eat here. Terrible waste of $200!

A must visit casual dining spot overlooking the water!
This restaurant is brilliant. The lobster was incredibly fresh. We enjoyed the extra large lobster roll - sharing the 1 lb roll at $52 with a side of cape cod crisps. This was plenty for two and worked well with a cold drink to accompany.
The staff are very friendly and if you time your visit well, you can enjoy the live music and singing from the nearby local establishments.
Again, you must try the lobster. Very fresh and a real highlight of the trip.
