Well our most recent trip to Quahog republic was last Saturday night. It was busy when we got there but were able to get seated in a reasonable time but that theme ended quickly. It food is good, not amazing but good enough to come back. I like their chicken wings. The problem seemed to be everyone was running around... More

Great place, friendly people, very good chowder! It's truly a dive bar, doesn't look like much from the outside, but the bartender was great...very attentive and friendly, and the chowder was excellent. Reasonable prices, I will definitely be going back.

Had lunch at this unassuming spot in a strip mall because the Boston Globe recommended the lobster roll. It comes in 2 sizes with chips on the side. No mayo. DELICIOUS roll which was buttered and grilled. It was served with drawn butter. Menu said we could get it with mayo or drawn butter. We didn't specify but assumed we'd... More

Recent good reviews from several friends prompted us to take a house guest to Quahog Republic. The service was wonderful, the food was overcooked and unappealing - save for the chowder. Our guest ordered crab cakes, which came out as hockey pucks. My sandwich included dry overcooked pork with little flavor. It will be a few years more before I... More

Quahog Republic lives up to its name as it is absolutely a dive bar. The quahogs are the best I've ever had largely due to the addition of (what I think is) some pepper which gives it a little kick. The lobster roll was overflowing with meat and more importantly, it had no mayo on it, making it one of... More

What an unbelievable lobster roll! As New England natives we are very particular about seafood and my husband was blown away at the amount of delicious fresh lobster in his perfect sandwich which comes in two sizes for the lesser appetite. He did the large of course! I enjoyed a delicious Mojito and a yummy cheeseburger. Definitely a little hidden... More

It is off the beaten path in a strip mall. Excellent food. We both had the quahog cubano sandwich. Ample portion and delicious. The marinated red onions and chipotle aioli were a nice addition to the cuban. A locals place and we met some very nice people. staff was very friendly and helpful. We will return.

Definitely a local bar but a very nice menu (and they serve til 11PM which is not common in Falmouth!). Small place with about 10 seats at the bar and maybe 8-10 tables. Several recommendations from the menu: stuffers and clam chowder (they have a great chowder) as well as the Cuban sandwich and their fish and chips. Lots of... More

If you order the lobster roll, choose the smaller portion because the pile of huge chunks of lobster is ridiculous and delicious!! We each took half of our portions home and had a lobster risotto for dinner the next day! Awesome!

I had the fish and chips which was very nice, not greasy. Almonds in the breading. Fries were crispy. Husband had the grilled chicken. We split an order of wings which were nicely marinated and sticky. Quite a few choices on tap. All in all a decent lunch.
