Menu looked great, and lobster rolls were highly recommended but a big disappointment. Food was definitely just okay and lobster roll was bland and just dry lobster meat on a big piece of lettuce on a hotdog roll. We were expecting much more all around.

We joined friends and family who were eating here and the staff was very accommodating moving us to a larger table. The wait staff was friendly and they did a nice job with our group that grew larger as the night went on. The food was good. I had a Boston Lager and a bowl of clam chowder which was... More

Service was slow. Lobster roll was ok. Drawn butter you have to ask for but a 15 minute wait after you forgot and have to ask a different member of the staff? Ozzy burger again just ok. Waitress proactive in catching our burgers being overcooked before they got to us but the replacements were also a bit overcooked. Ambiance? Not... More

We stopped in the night we got to Falmouth because we arrived so late. We were able to grab a seat quickly and the service was fine. The stuffed quahog was spicy and the chowder was very good. The lobster on the lobster roll was overcooked and tough- wicked disappointing! Not a bad spot, but didn't measure up to other... More

Well our most recent trip to Quahog republic was last Saturday night. It was busy when we got there but were able to get seated in a reasonable time but that theme ended quickly. It food is good, not amazing but good enough to come back. I like their chicken wings. The problem seemed to be everyone was running around... More

Great place, friendly people, very good chowder! It's truly a dive bar, doesn't look like much from the outside, but the bartender was great...very attentive and friendly, and the chowder was excellent. Reasonable prices, I will definitely be going back.

Had lunch at this unassuming spot in a strip mall because the Boston Globe recommended the lobster roll. It comes in 2 sizes with chips on the side. No mayo. DELICIOUS roll which was buttered and grilled. It was served with drawn butter. Menu said we could get it with mayo or drawn butter. We didn't specify but assumed we'd... More

Recent good reviews from several friends prompted us to take a house guest to Quahog Republic. The service was wonderful, the food was overcooked and unappealing - save for the chowder. Our guest ordered crab cakes, which came out as hockey pucks. My sandwich included dry overcooked pork with little flavor. It will be a few years more before I... More

Quahog Republic lives up to its name as it is absolutely a dive bar. The quahogs are the best I've ever had largely due to the addition of (what I think is) some pepper which gives it a little kick. The lobster roll was overflowing with meat and more importantly, it had no mayo on it, making it one of... More
