Excellent food and service and a nice wine list. Very pleasant setting, but hard to find--get good directions before you go. Expensive, but not outrageous.

We had a wonderful dinner, we loved our food and our waiter was very attentive. If I return to the cape I will certainly want to dine here again!

We went to the Glass onion not knowing what to expect. We go out to dinner quite often and had never tried this restaurant. To our surprise it was delicious! It is not your cheaper restaurant but the saying goes you pay for what you get ! Well worth it. !

We were taken to the restaurant by friends who live in Woods Hole. They have had good experiences with it. It is a lovely restaurant, lots of room, and they were ready for us as we had made reservations (a must in the summer on the weekend). We are still not quite sure why we were disappointed. Perhaps expectations. But... More

Enjoyed our 38th anniversary meal at the Glass Onion. Service was excellent, however both of us agreed that we have experienced better meals in other upscale restaurants over the years. The restaurant had been highly recommended to us in the past, so thought this would be a great choice. We discovered afterwards that the former Chef has departed from the... More

We went here based on several recommendations from various locals. The restaurant is elegant but not stuffy. The wait staff was excellent. Our food was delicious except neither my friend or I enjoyed the salad we ordered which was the special for the day but everything else was top notch. My friend has a shrimp allergy and they made one... More

This restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere, with lots of windows and high ceilings. A waiting area is a screened in side porch where you can wait with a drink. We arrived at 6pm on the Saturday night of Labor Day Weekend and waited 45 minutes for a table. They don't take reservations. My meal was great, but husband not... More

We felt welcomed. Informed wait was 30-45 minutes. Finding ZD Napa wine on the menu, we expected this to be a good place! Actual wait was only 15. Service good and not rushed. Refreshing to have a short menu. Loved having fewer straight forward elegant options rather thank lots of odd so called creative ones. Classic elegance with yet causal... More

After an expected wait time on Saturday / Labor Day weekend we were seated in 1.5 hours. Comfortable lively ambience, food, Andrew's service all AMAZING! Please put the chocolate milkshake back on the menu! We closed the restaurant and never felt the least bit rushed. Great experience
