The pumpkin cheese dish and duck salad were outstanding. The bechamel lasagna is outstanding. Eat slowly as the food is so so good.

When we travel to theCape this is our go to spot...the carbonara is excellent...the only gripe I have is the price for the portion...at $22 I should get an actual bowl of pasta not just a few mouthfuls...

It's "fresh" greens from my salad on the picture. Our food was not good, not fresh and definitely overpriced.

We wanted fresh pasta. Reviews were pretty good so we ventured out. Ordered the tortelloni with sage and brown butter and bolognese tagliatelle. Both were delicious but the tortelloni was Devine. Filling was slightly sweet, good amount of filling and good texture. Restaurant decor was...nice. Also had the rica salad which was very good. Would return and recommend!More

A great place for the best in Italian food in Falmouth, stopped in a week or so ago on a beautiful summer afternoon. The restaurant is in a rustic European setting, lots of flowers to enjoy while people watching on main street. Social distancing, masks...and virus protection where in vogue here. After a couple of cocktails, my wife and I ordered lunch. I had the Tagliatelle and Madelyn had the Lobster Risotto. She is still raving about her meal, I enjoyed mine and still had enough to bring home for the next days lunch. A great summer experience. You must visit La Civetta when visiting on the Cape.More

Food was good but any request that we had from our server, gave us the impression we were putting them out of their way even with a simple request to add a protein to a salad. Not flexible and the menu is the menu.

We had an amazing dinner here tonight. Shared the burrrata then had the lobster and shrimp risotto and the cod. Both were wonderful. Everything on that cod plate was perfectly cooked. Cocktails and wine were excellent. Save room for gelato- three scoops is enough for...sharing. Service was great and everything done safely in these times. Get a reservation for a table outside on the side patio. An excellent dinner.More

i would not visit this restaurant again. we had poor service........had to wait 15 minutes or longer to have our dishes removed once we had finished eating, and also, had to ask for our bill whiich took aother 10 or longer. minutes. not sure if...the man is the owner, but, felt besides cutting bread and seating people, he walked past our table enough times to know we had finished our meal, and sat waiting for our bill. he asked two tables, how was their meal, and also, collected their bill . not sure what he was trying to prove....poor excuse for an owner.More

On the spur of the moment, my husbanc and I decided to have lunch at La Civetta, which is open for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays. We relaxed with a Peromi beer and a glass of Ovieto. Lovely. I got the pasta fagioli as a...starter, which was a special. I wish it was on the regular menu, I would get it all the time!. The pasta bolognese was delicious and was a large enough serving for two meals. My husband got the carbonarra, also delicious with al dente pasta. Both entrees came out steaming hot, by the owner. When my husband asked for a wine suggestion, she brought out two samples which were large enough for several sips. We are always happy with our experience at La Civetta. We would eat there more frequently if we lived closer. BTW, we opted for tap water which is placed in a pitcher on the table for easy refills. The bread was so good, we asked for a second helping.More

A great restaurant. Their signature glocomoule did not meet our expectations based on the "hype" the restaurant gave it as well as others. It is our opinion that the server/pre parer was not properly trained and supervised after training. We travel to "The Cape" often...so, will no doubt try it again.More

Yes they do and the bar area is very small but intimate where you will most likely get to talk to a local or far off traveler.
