I developed Alpha-GAL syndrome from a tick bite, not unknown on the Vineyard. I am allergic to all meat and dairy. Restaurants are invariably accommodating and I don't ask for much: a salad with no cheese, dressing with no dairy. In this case, the chef...(according to the server) could do nothing for me. There might be cross-contamination where the salads are made. Cheese could not be removed from a salad because the chef said no substitutions. Well, a slice of bread then? Sorry, no bread at lunchtime. I have never encountered this attitude. Lettuce can be washed as can tomatoes, avocados, cucumbers. The restaurant simply didn't care. Moreover, would you like dessert was never uttered. Just the presentation of the check. My message is this: If you are vegan or have special needs with regard to food, this is not the place for you. If you want a slice of bread at lunch, go elsewhere. If you want dessert, maybe ask for the dessert menu as soon as you are seated.More

The man who runs the Atlantic needs to understand he is in the service business - his behaviour is rude and unwelcoming. He is in the wrong job. The waiting staff are charming. Very high end bar and restaurant in the heart of Edgartown. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and small bit to eat including the potatoes au gratin which were amazing. Gerald whipped us up some espresso martinis which were incredible. This is...a must stop on your MV vacation.More

Worst dining experience of my life. We arrived 15 minutes late to our booking after calling 5+ times to let the restaurant know. The owner Eli yelled at me at the table that he was doing us a favour serving us. As a local to...Martha’s Vineyard for 30+ years I was horrified to be spoken to this way. The manner of Eli and his immediate staff, particularly their aggressive nature, was uncomfortable and despite being seated we left immediately through our own choice. I should note this was despite the best efforts of a very charming waiter to look after us. He was a gem in an otherwise diabolical experience.More

Great location with good drinks and overpriced ok food. Very loud Hard to enjoy meal. Set on deck on a nice night and they had it all sealed up. Made it very loud.

What a beautiful and amazing place. They sat my family out on the porch on the water and treated us to an amazing meal and amazing experience. World class service. And the other guests were very lovely as well.

Finally was able to get a table midweek at 8:30 pm. Menus took a while, food & drinks even longer. Worst: 0.5 l water at $10.

The service was excellent as was the food! Tasty! Appetizers and meals were spot on tasty! We had a group of 8 and they worked hard to seat us in a very timely manner!
