Excellent comfort food! First time here in September 2020. Liked it so much we came back again the next week!

Wonderful place to have dinner. Consistently good quality food. From the homemade potato skins and homemade onion rings to a nice variety of food on the menu. Excellent lobster bisque soup. I had the lazy man lobster with nice hot butter. Very moderately priced in...the low $30's. Restaurant also offers a large selection of gluten-free dinners. Staff goes out of their way to please you. Drinks are priced right with a nice pour, like you were making a drink at home. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are lucky enough to get Claire as you server, it's a bonus.More

The food here is great & the seafood bisque is fantastic. I would have rated it higher; however they have instituted a 3% Covid charge to every bill. No other restaurant of which I'm aware does this; nor are they doing anything different than any...other restaurant in that regard; so why the 3% upcharge (other than greed)More

Once again we were very happy with the best seafood restaurant on the east coast. We live in western Massachusetts and as a special treat we make the 2 hour drive to Lindsey’s a few times a year for there spectacular clam cakes and chowdah....The Lobster Mac and cheese Is the best I’ve ever had. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Well we are headed there again on Friday to celebrate our anniversary and a photo shoot our dog is doing for doggie treats in Boston. Always worth the trip, never been disappointed. See you all soon!More

Four of us met last night for dinner at Lindsey's. We all have previous experiences eating here, but this time was different. My wife and I chose the appetizer of lobster quesadilla. It was fantastic, four large slices loaded with lobster, cooked and prepared to...perfection. We each had one slice and shared the third with the other folks. One slice was perfect, any more, and I would have been unable to eat the entree I had ordered. Mentioned to our waiter, Connor, how great it was, and we were told that it was just placed on the menu on a trial basis. (Great timing, or what?) The main course meals were excellent, consisting of a baked haddock, seafood casserole, chopped cobb salad, and chicken and broccoli scampi. The staff was friendly, they were very attentive to the social distancing, the mask wearing, and sanitary procedures. Overall, we were very well treated by the good people at Lindsey's Family Restaurant.More

For the first time since Covid, I stopped and ate at Lindseys. Once again, it was a wonderful experience , both with fabulous food and unbelievably safe and immaculate conditions. I was not surprised as Sherry has always given the best in all areas. Her...staff are friendly, competent and so polite and helpful. The food is always terrific!! I ate inside with no worries! The restaurant is sanitized with Plexiglass separations. The outside area is delightful— clean, attractive, and safely arranged. I highly recommend Lindsey’s as one of the very best!!More

I had a great time at Lindsey's on the way home from the Cape. The service was excellent. The staff is so careful following all the protocols for being safe with Covid-19. We ate inside and there were plexi-glass partitions between the booths. I observed...wait staff thoroughly cleaning booths that were vacated by patrons. The outside ding was done so well and was very attractive. They had constructed a wall for privacy, and many plants were placed to provide a nice ambience. It looked it had always been there. We always stop at Lindsey's on the way home because the food and service are so good. The staff always makes us feel so welcome too. I had the fried clam strip dinner, and it was wonderful. As well as the great food, the dedication of the staff to follow all the safety protocols made Lindsey's feel like a very safe place to dine. I highly recommend it.More

Since 1948, Lindsey’s has been the fried clam destination in the Cape. Well deserved praise! The Ipswich fried clams were hot and fried to perfection. Sydney recommended them since it is my first visit. I’m coming back. Delicious

We had not been to Lindsey's in awhile and last night it did not disappoint. They have created a romantic outdoor dining area with unique fencing, fun umbrella, twinkle lights and planters. The staff all very particular about disinfecting, cleaning and wearing masks to keep...diners safe. We had shrimp scampi and "rustica." OMG! Both were perfect and garlic bread delicious too. They carry our favorite red wine and my cosmopolitan was perfect. Portions were very large so we'll get to enjoy at home again. They were serving home made strawberry shortcake that I very much wanted but no room in the tummy. Stop by Lindsey's soon...you will be happy you did!More
