Way overrated and extremely over priced for what you get. Portions are tiny and really not that great. Do not recommend this place.

Had a great afternoon lunch, we shared a chowder and lobster roll, first of the season, would def recommend this “snug” little place
Been here several times. Very good food and fun place to eat! Great location. Definitely recommend this spot!
We discovered that our favorite fish & chips venue had closed for the season so decided to try the food at Snug Harbor. Good sized portions but quite honestly nothing to bring us back for more.
My wife and I stopped there one late afternoon after a long trip and wanted to grab a quick bite. We both ordered the fish tacos...grabbed a table outside and waited for our meals. The service was fine, but the amount of fish in the...tacos was smaller and skinnier than my pinky finger! We are not gluttons , but the only thing large about the tacos was the price!! I think they were $15.00 for such a extra small portion! Not complaining about the price...just suggesting you put some fish in there that is visible to the eye...More
We spent part of the day in Duxbury with friends. On our way out we stopped here for lunch based on our friends recommendation. First any food service location that puts as much care into their customers with food allergies gets top marks in my...book. After ordering lunch the manager came out to our table to discuss my wife's order and offer some suggestions. She ended up with an amazing grilled salmon and fresh grilled veges. I tried both and can attest to how delicious they were. I ordered the lobster roll, you can go wrong with a lobster roll.. right! Snug Harbor has mastered this item! Large chunks of lobster, fresh scallions and celery, on a nicely toasted roll. What I really appreciated was that it was NOT smothered in mayo.. it made the whole sandwich amazing. You can taste the freshness of the lobster and not just mayo! So on your next trip to Duxbury beach give Snug Harbor a try!More
Wow! I felt a good vibe when my random search had me parking here right off the bat. Walked in and Diane greeted me as did a customer. I had a bowl of delish clam chowder and the freshest, juiciest shrimp, mango, avocado ceviche ever!...And I learned of places to look for real estate (considering a move to Cape Cod) as well. Even had the delight of turning a little girl on to chowda :) Hope to move here & become a frequent customer!More
The best lunch/ seafood place in town. Fresh and very fresh. Did i say fresh. Clean (you can see them making your food and nice to sit outside. They make meals one at a time so you have to be PATIENT. the french bakery next...door is not too shabby either for desert.More
We stayed in Duxbury for a week taking in the 4th July parade during our weeks stay. By far one of the standout parts of our trip was purchasing seafood from Snug Harbour and cooking it back at our hosts house. The service was excellent...and the seafood was top notch. By the flow of people going through the shop it doesn't really need much underpinning in the popularitystakes by little old me....:-). Well worth a visit. The picture I have attached is the Lobster we cooked from the shop.More
The sleepy little village of Snug Harbor has one of the best kept dining secrets on the South Shore. The popular Snug Harbor Fish Market sells assorted fish dishes to go. They include all the traditional clam shack favorites as well as boiled lobsters and...steamed clams and fresh grilled swordfish. But you don’t have to take them home. A sidewalk patio has tables and seating under umbrellas that can accommodate about twenty people. The fish is good and the prices are reasonable. The French fries are heavily seasoned with a spicy flavor. There is French Memories Bakery right next door offering a wonderful selection of pastries for dessert as well as ice cream. There is also a wine store next door so you can discretely have a bottle of wine with your lunch or early dinner (they close around 7:00). This is a great place for people watching on Saturday lunch. This is a favorite take for locals. Many people stop by and take out the fried fish and assorted sandwiches on their way to the beach for a picnic. Summers in Duxbury are a little special because of this well kept secret. So come and enjoy seafood and summer in Duxbury with a stop at Snug Harbor Fish Market.More
Fish is always fresh and services friendly. Nothing better on a warm day than to sit out on the patio, smell the ocean air, and enjoy their food.
This is a quaint place with a local feel where you can sit outside and enjoy fresh seafood. There is only seating during the warm months as it is primarily a fish market. A nice benefit is that it is a BYOB and there is...a wine and beer store next door. I had the clam roll and split steamers with my girlfriend. The only peculiar thing is that they put cheese on their salmon and swordfish sandwiches. So if that’s not your thing order with out it.More
An impromptu family Labor Day Party turned into a guest list for 24. I called Snug Harbor Fish Company on Thursday and early Saturday morning picked up 7 quarts of the most delicious, thick, savory, clam chowder ever to hit the Northeast! Did I mention...the amazing 2 1/2 lbs. of fresh shrimp? All I had to do was unwrap the package and pour cocktail sauce. I'm not sure which item received more compliments, but it was agreed by all, the clam chowder AND the shrimp were the best they had ever had and having a family from New England I would say that has to be just about the best compliment you can receive...That and of course having no leftovers! You better believe, we are never going anywhere else for our seafood!More
First time here and we both had the lobster roll and it was delicious. Very fresh with just a touch of mayo. Served with grilled veggies and cole slaw on the side. The roll was toasted and did not overwhelm the lobster. Living on the...coast there are many choices for lobster rolls but I have to say this was the best I've had in awhile. Priced right too!More
