About
The Ebb Tide Restaurant will not be opening for the 2022 season. We’ll be focusing our efforts at The Sea View, our beautiful venue that we opened in 2007 just down the street at 76 Chase Avenue. Although we served the ET dinner menu there the past two summers, this year The Sea View will be available only for private events. Please consider The Sea View when planning a wedding, rehearsal dinner, or other special event! - The McCormick Family

We ordered carryout dinners for the whole family. The order had a mix of regular and gluten free items and multiple preferences. Each meal was done exactly as requested. The gluten free meals were placed in a separate bag marked gluten free. The food was delicious, as it has been for decades. The customer service was outstanding! Definitely will be doing this again!

Returned to this restaurant after about ten years and still liked it. The Lobster Bisque soup was excellent, the Apricot Almond Chicken also good and very tender. Love this restaurant. Wish they were open Year round!

How do you make a beautiful prime rib completely tasteless? $34 for a dish with frozen vegetables! How do people get away with ripping us off like this? The only solution is to write a review and never go back there - which we promise we will never do. $120 for 1 starter (which was actually tasty) & 2 main dishes, plus 4 drinks - very disappointing and a waste of $90!

We recently ate dinner at the Ebb Tide on our trip to Cape Cod and loved it!! It was our favorite meal during our 5 day stay. We were there in time to order off of the early bird menu which is available from 5 - 6 pm and offers a variety of 3 course meals (appetizer, entree, and dessert). I ordered clam chowder for my appetizer and it was delicious. My husband ordered a garden salad with the house dressing. The appetizers were served with warm rolls that were so good. After the appetizer course, we were brought a small scoop of raspberry sorbet which was very refreshing. For our entrees, I ordered the baked cod with chowder, rice pilaf, and green beans. Oh my gosh, it was so good!! My husband ordered the cod (with no chowder), mashed potatoes, and green beans and loved his as well. We both had the homemade lemon meringue pie for dessert, also very good. The portions were substantial and we were both stuffed when we left. I had iced tea to drink and my husband ordered a “Whales Ale” beer which he did not care for. The total for our meal was $68 before tip. Our server ( I think her name was Yasmaus or something similar) was wonderful - I really enjoyed how much she cared about making sure we were well taken care of. She is definitely an asset to the restaurant. The only negative in our visit is that I thought it was pretty chilly in the dining area, but then again I usually freeze wherever I go. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return if ever in the area again.

We had a very friendly server and didn’t have to wait long for our food. The Ebb tide has a good variety of sea food and offer traditional family cuisine. They did not have gluten free burger buns but they had vegetarian friendly options. We ordered a Salmon with sweet potato mash and vegetarian ravioli. Everything tasted very good and was fresh cooked. Especially the warm bread rolls and the whipped butter as a starter were fantastic!

The atmosphere was friendly, our server was fun, and the food was very good! They made great espresso martinis as well. While at first glance it seemed pricey it was really comparable to other restaurants and the food was a very good value for the price. We would recommend this restaurant.

I called the Ebb Tide and tried to make reservations for two the day before Father’s Day. I was told that they do not take reservations for only two, but there should not be a problem waiting too long. We walk from our timeshare which is minutes away and it was 8:00 on Father’s Day. When we walked in I sensed that it would not be a problem because it was so quiet 🤫 so I asked for a table for 2 and she replied “oh I’m sorry we close at 8”! Sorry, but it would have been nice to have been told that the day before! Unfortunately cannot review the food if you know what I mean🤨

The Ebb Tide has been there for years. It's very good. They offer early bird specials at reasonable prices. It's not Burger King cheap but it's reasonable for fine dining. They make a good drink. Our last visit was a big party with well behaved grandchildren and it was family friendly.

This place was right near our resort, so we decided to try it. We were greeted by a very nice hostess. We asked her about the special dinner options they had and she offered the menu to us. You had a choice on an appetizer, and entree and desert all for the price of the entree. We had the lobster bisque and the stuffed quahog. The bisque was one of the best I have ever had. The quahog was a little dry and needed a little more flavor, but it was huge! Both of us ordered salads, the dressings were tastey. We both ordered the Seafarer’s Sampler, a baked casserole with sherry seasoned crumbs covering a bed of shrimp, scallops. Our sides were rice pilaf, mashed potatoes and squash. The entrees were very good, plenty of seafood, enough to bring home and eat the next day. The portions of the sides were good and also flavorable. Our deserts were a hot fudge sundae and lemon meringue pie. The pie was a huge piece, with a nice presentation. Our server was Paul who was excellent. He explained the menu, and did not rush us through our meal at all. We will definitely return. Right now they are only open on the weekends, but they will be doing full time in a couple of weeks. The atmosphere is very quaint.

I have eaten at the Ebb Tide for over thirty years every summer. I ate dinner there this year and found the food to be delicious. The clam chowder is the best on the Cape...creamy and thick. The swordfish was tasty and seasoned just right. I went for the three course dinner which was a great deal.....and well worth the price....appetizer and dessert included. A very respected, family run restaurant where your servers and everyone emplyed there treat you with the utmost respect. Only disappointment was that they no longer provide the cranberry bread with your meal....they have it but for a price.

I have been going to The Ebb Tide since I was a kid. It has always been wonderful. This year the food and atmosphere continued to be wonderful but just felt we were rushed. We were looking forward to a quiet, relaxing evening but finished out dinner in less than an hour. Our waitress was very efficient, got us in and out in record time. Not what I expected from The Ebb Tide.

Visited while on vacation at the resort across the street. Very good seafood, and we liked the vintage restaurant/steakhouse vibe. Our waiter was a young college age guy, one of the best waiters we've had in years. Great evening out. Would go there again if ever in Dennis Port.

Visiting the cape with my friend in memory of her father who lived here and passed away at a very young age. This was his favorite restaurant. We arrived and were told we’d have about a 30 minute wait. There’s no bar or bar food so we took a walk along the beach which was only a 5 minute walk across from the restaurant. We were promptly seating when we returned . We ordered drinks to toast Walter. I ordered house Cabernet which was Ravenwood. It was very nice and you got a generous pour for $9. We both ordered the 3 course dinner. I had clam chowder which was excellent, pecan crusted salmon which was delicious but a little on the sweet side, baked potato and broccoli. The broccoli was fresh but was over cooked and seemed to be boiled and waterlogged. I had the strawberry shortcake for dessert. A lovely cranberry sorbet was provided between courses served in its own ice cube bowl! Highly recommend. Dinner for two with 2 glasses of wine and 20%+ tip $100. Great value for what we had.

The words "traditional" and "classic," used to describe a restaurant, particularly on the Cape, can sometimes translate to just plain stuffy and old-fashioned. That's not the case with the Ebb Tide. It's definitely a place for your favorite Cape fare, but the food is far from ordinary, and items like the lobster fritters (which are great) keep the menu interesting. The Ebb Tide doesn't take reservations, but they recently did a great job on short notice accommodating our family group of nearly 20 for a special occasion. The staff was great, and everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, really enjoyed their meals. We'll be back.
